I just bought the I'm only looking dvd collection. I must say it brought back so many memories, and it reminded me of how great INXS' music really is. It sounds fresh after all these years. And what can I say about Michael. I remember when Kick first came out. I had my walls plastered with posters of the band and Michael. He just had something about him that gave you shivers. Those eyes? Who could forget those eyes. You are deeply missed now, and will always be. We hope you are resting in true peace, and will always know that your fans still love you and support you after all these years that you have been gone. Gone physically, but never spiritualy. Love you always Michael!! xxoo

I know it has been what 7 1/2 years since Michaels passing but he still missed greatly. Not only was he one of , no the greatest!, and most charasmatic lead singers of our time. He seemed to be the guy every girl wanted to be with and the guy every guy wanted to be. I still remember 20 some years ago hearing an early INXS song and asking my cousin , who the hell is this band and more importantly: who is singing with such a distinctive voice. And he said the singers name is Michael Hutchence and the bands name is INXS. I still remember thinking these guys are amazing and they are gonna be really big someday. Well Michael, since I am not as poetic as Jimmy Barnes or anybody else for that matter, let me just say , we miss you pal, we love you, and we hope that you have found peace finally in heaven.

As a child Michael hutchence voice seemed to always fill my house. My mother and my aunt were madly in love with him and in turn he was my first real love!. When he passed it was the end of a love affair (or so I thought) now I am a little older and I realize that we will probably always love him.

I still miss the music of the group. Mike was so sexy and talented.....I loved Suicide Blonde
I heard it, went blonde for the better and have never gone back....You never know the influence another person has on another...I'm sorry I never got to see him perform live.

One of your songs came on the radio and I was reminded of your death, so young. I wondered why, and the pain - What are we doing in life where at times we feel its not living at all. How do you disassociate yourself from those momments of lifelessness to breakthrough to a concious lucid understanding of why we live and what is important. You are missed -your music still speaks and makes me think.

When one dies young is because the gods wanted it so.......I listen to his music almost everyday I think he still represent the youth in these times and he will never be forgotten.

I was standing, you were there, two worlds collided, and they can never tear us a a part. You will be missed, you have brought so much joy to me in my life through your voice and writing. You will never dissappear........

I simply could not believe my eyes this morning as I read an article on foxnews.com regarding the “reality show” that the remaining members of INXS are perpetrating. How could you EVER think of replacing Michael? And how could you do it in such a cheesy, disrespectful way?! Are all of you so hard up for money that you would sell out so completely? Frankly, I think it's a travesty. I have always been a huge fan of INXS right from the very first time I heard your music in the early '80's. Rarely has rock, pop and soul been so cleverly melded. However, those days are gone. Have you ever noticed how the Doors have NEVER attempted to replace Jim Morrison (in my estimation a huge influence on Michael singing and stage presence)? There's a reason for that! You can't replace such an important component! Move on musically and find another project and let Michael rest in peace.

I grew up listening to INXS.It saddens me to know what happened to Michael and I can't imagine what it must be like for the band and his family. We miss a man that to this day inspires, challenges.defies, mystifies and has touched so many peoples lives apart from my own.
Thankyou Michael.

I have realized that replacing a great artist is almost impossible. I auditioned for the void you left your bandmates, family and friends. I entered a place that you created and dominated. I acted as myself and thought of you the whole time, it was comforting. I hope this venture will make you proud when it is all over. You will never be replaced, you merely passed the baton to finish the race. Peace and love to you Michael.

simply love this site. the more pictures the better. i've been the biggest inxs fan since the 80's and still as loyal as i was back then. never again will there be a band as amazing as these six guys on stage. and never will there ever be another smoothe charismatic performer as michael hutchence. thanks to this amazing band, i've been touched by their ability to touch people through their music. hands down the most influencial band ever.
