I just wanted to say that Music has lost one of the best and awesome singers of all times....i am a big fan of INXS...i hope the band will go on and on and on..forever

I'll never forget the horrific news as I was driving from Southern Onttario to the North.......I could not believe we lost such a talent. I saw Michael & the band in Toronto......had 7th row seats & it was the best concert I have experienced other than Bruce Springsteen. Michael had so much energy, so much talent & he was a beautiful guy. It's such a tragedy to allow drugs, addictions & whatever suffering he was experiencing, to take him away. I have all the bands records & I still get pumped whenever I hear one of their old hits on the radio. I pray that Michael has peace wherever he is.
Michael was born a rock star and died a legend. RIP.

Australian rock has always played a big part in my life. Bands like AC/DC, INXS and Cold chisel are my idols. I've always thought of Michael Hutchence as one of the best singers in the world. I grew up listening to AC/DC and INXS and I'm certain I'll grow old listening to them. Thank you for all fabulous years listening to your music. Like Bon Scott, you'll never be forgotten.

I've been following the site for a few weeks Michael and i'm absolutely overwhelmed at the amount of messages still being posted 8 years after your death. For me it says it all. This site like your music, has become a legacy. The site radiates love. I hope you felt some of this intense love and admiration of your fans while you were still alive.

I remember the first time I saw INXS live. It reminded me of the first time I ever saw Mick Jagger in person, Michael was so full of charisma, and for the first few songs I could not take my eyes off of him. Even thought it has been almost 8 years, I still can't believe he's gone.

Was just listening to INXS and remembered what an awsome show they gave at the Warfield in SF and how much I miss Michael. I'm glad to see that the rest of the members of the band are doing well and continuing to produce music. Good luck boys!

You touched my life, you touched my heart and you touched my hand. Your music was possibly the greatest thing to come out of the 1980's. The album Kick stands alone as one of the greatest musical achievements of all time. You will be remembered and admired until the end of time.

A bit belated i know but u and ur group saw me through my teenage yrs and into my 20's. I think i had every hair cut and style from every band member. i was a massive fan but never got to see u live - which i regret.

Just wanted to say how nice this site is. I did not know it existed until today. I miss Michael so much and I thank him for saving me I just wish I could have repaid the favor. To his dad I am the one who wrote a letter on the INXS site about meeting Michael in New Orleans. Your son was a blessing and now he's a beautiful angel - I have no doubt you will see him again.
