I met Inxs band in the early 1980's in California and knew them pretty well, especially John and Tim Farris and I thought they were one of the best bands around. I have several pictures of them and also traveled to Canada and Seattle Washington to see them back then. I don't know if Tim and John would have remembered me but back then when I would go to their concerts Tim would always see me and remembered who I was and invite us back stage. What great memories.

Well when i was young my brother used to hear INXS all the time, so since then i like it very much.
When INXS came to Mexico in the 2000, the last song they played was Never Tear Us Apart and in a screen were videos of Michael Hutchense and I started to cry. jejejej strange but i ffelt a lot of feeling in that momente, i felt sad ecause his death.

The site is touching, but I can feel your pain in your loss. My prayers are with Michael's family and friends. The Lord will heal and beleive it or not, you will be able to speak of Michael and it won't hurt as bad. Our family had a loss so we understand and offer our love and sympathy.
Saw you perform several times. Loved You
I had always loved the music of INXS all through the 80's and 90's. Hit after hit just kept coming. I recently watched Live Baby Live and was totally blown away by the complete talent of the entire band and especially the unmistakable, incredibly amazing, powerful voice of the one and only Micheal Hutchence. Now I can't get enough of INXS. Rest in Peace Michael. I wish you were still with us.
I remember the first time that I heard INXS... It was on a road trip to New Jersey three years ago when I was 14. I thought what most people think when they first hear the band. Holy s**t they are good. I then bought the greatest hits CD a while later and was absolutely amazed at what I heard. Ever since then, INXS has been my favorite band of all time. I love how the band utilizes all kinds of different instuments in the songs. But most of all, I love the voice of Mike Hutchence. I have never heard a voice of the likes and his live performances were absolutely amazing. LONG LIVE INXS!
As a teenager I listened to your music and was greatly inspired to write my own lyrics and music. God Bless you.
Listening to -I just want slide away......taking a moment to think of you.
We saw him in Melbourne,St.Kilda in 1992.....Jesus..What a Day.......Never tear us apart..our Love..J/A
You were the best singer thatI ever heard. I loved your music. I first heard it 20 years ago I bought lps and cds of yours. go with the good lord. goodbye
I met Michael and the band in 1985 in Omaha, Nebraska backstage. My friend, Elaine(Miller) Miles took me along to meet them. She also went on tour with them. All of the band INXS, were so kind to me. I will never forget having Michael sign my poster and take a picture with me. The picture is something that I will have forever. Although, my mother could not find the autographed poster the day they moved out of their house! The day I found out about his passing, it was around my birthday that year in 1997. I will never forget the voice he had. I also sing and have really missed hearing his voice with the band more on the radio. When they do play INXS, I do stop what I am doing and listen and pray. People do not understand when I hear songs in a restaurant or “muzak” in a store from INXS, that I don't talk at all. I miss him dearly. His presence is all around music. He will NEVER be forgotten!
Too all of INXS, you will have a really hard time replacing him! But when you do, I hope you find someone that has a golden voice!

i always remember michael
In this special day, only want you to know how your sweetness, your softness, your beautiful eyes and your loving soul are in everything around me. Like a delicate butterfly, you follow me.
Thank you, Michael Hutchence.
Thank you, Michael Hutchence.
i miss you so much....
As any-one can see through this wonderful guestbook , Michael still rock the world!!!
I really don't know how to start... As you can see my All-day-language isn't English, so maybe the things I write are competly wrong but I think the message which I wanna show plays the important role! Maybe I'm one of INXS youngest fans (age:15)but I love the music like the adults, I think! 🙂 When I heard INXS the first time (it was “Listen like thieves”) I was shocked (the postive way). It was so different from all the other things I hear (like HIM, Lenny Kravitz, a German band called “Die Ärzte”,...)but in the same moment I got something like a special connection to the music! Here in Germany it's very difficult to get informations about INXS or older CDs (I'm lucky, because my hometowm has a very good library)so I read of Michaels death only after I had a lot of the CDs! Well, I think it's such a big loss, for the music and also for his friends/family/...
I can't describe with words what I felt, when I heard this!!!
I will always remember your (and INXS) music and my favourite song will forever be “New Sensation”!
If another German fan read (and understand:-)...) this, maybe he could contact me? I would be glad! This site is great, good luck for your future! (the same wishes for INXS)

I've watched the INXS Live Baby Live DVD last night and while i was watching it and realizing that Michael it's not with us no more, it was really sad, cause the inspiration that i was getting from the Performance and the Energy that they had. I am a musician myself too and i must say INXS and Michael's vocal is a great motivation for my music. It's really sad the fact that some great musicians go away this way, like Curt Cobain, Layne Staley. I wished that i could see them performing Live (at least once). I think that Michael and INXS as a band will be remembered Forever.
Peace

As my little sister has entered a comment, I feel it only right and proper that, as elder sister, I do also! Micheal Hutchence was quite simply a sex god, he had it oozing out of every one of his attractively large pores. Seeing him at the Barrowlands was one of the best things I've ever done.
