I had the pleasure of seeing Michael and the band on only a handful of occasions. My lasting memory of Michael was his presence; it surrounded him, you couldn't help but notice it. He had an aura. He was literally larger than life. I am proud to be the owner of a heck of a lot of INXS music - it's great to listen and remember.

May his God travel with him.

saw you in fort worth texas I was the only person allowed to be on the empty row in front of your wifes. I made sure to not block their views. enough said! mike you don't know how much your missed luv you man! I wrote a song about KNOTS. the knot that came loose to early took out John Beluchi. the knot that stayed tight to long took out Micheal Hutchence? P.S. I even had an adopted granny named “Hutchie” Iwould love to be your next vocalist knowing no one could fill micheal's shoes.

They will never tear apart the music you gave from your soul...
They will never tear apart the love that came from your heart...
They can never put assunder that which poured from the deepest part of you and touched millions of aching beings...
Therefore they will never tear us apart...
You told us that we can fly because we all have wings...
I know why...to carry the beacon of light you left behind, to pick up the lonely, to inspire the desperate and most of all to live...

To live out loud is the greatest thing we can do...
To be truly proud of whatever we see each morning we arise and to affirm that we are worthy...My silent prayer is that I can heal my broken wings through music so that I or my kind does not have to suffer the same fate...
I too have known emotional destitude and black sorrow that threatens to devour my very soul...
Because of you my life goes on but not the same...
Michael my brother until we meet again in that goodnight of forever, this soldier will count the breaths until we are as one....

eternally yours,
-Rodnesia

P.s. I pray that your spirit will inhabit every part of my being at the Austin, Texas audition on Feb. 16th 2005. Michael my very life depends on making it in the music business. Please tell GOD for me the time is now!

I say you guys just a couple of months before Michael's untimely death at Starlake Amphitheater in Pittsburgh, PA.

I can't think of a song by INXS that I don't like and that doesn't move me in some way!

When I first heard that you were looking for someone to “replace” Michael, I was somewhat upset, but I just want to hear new stuff and I think he would like it.

Thanks for helping me through puberty in the 80's and giving me great music to enjoy in the 90's.

Much Love, Michael Ann

Since the death of Michael, I have been heartbroken.

The other day, I once again saw a story of INXS on tv and it told of how we lost him.

I truly loved his voice and the band.

I grew up as a teen when MTV first came around and remember watching “The One Thing”, and loving that video. I became a fan since then.

Michael and the band were so talented and it won't be the same without him.

He is so missed and always will be. He was so awesome.

I pray for the band, family and friends of Michael.

God bless you all. We will never forget Michael and will always be a fan of his and INXS.

Michael was quite simply one of the best musical performers ever. His achievements with INXS and beyond will live on through time and also his beautiful daughter. Much love to the band who always seemed such a close knit group. Hope your new Rockstar venture is everything you want it to be and more. Michael, im sure, would wish nothing but good things for you fellas, a group of guys that meant so much more to him than “just” bandmates. Rock on INXS. RIP Mikey, we miss ya!!

I still miss Michael every day. He was one of a kind. I remember all the great times I had seeing INXS in pubs and clubs throughout Melbourne in the early years. I'm glad the rest of the world was able to see what a great performer and charismatic person Michael was. It still breaks my heart to have to refer to him in the past tense. Forever in my heart and my memories you wonderful gorgeous man.

Just found out about this guestbook. Michael was one of the greatest rock singers of all time. He was as great as Jim Morrison. It is so sad that they both died so young. Too much like the rock and roll story, Michael burned so bright. His death left a void in the world.

I just bought the I'm only looking dvd collection. I must say it brought back so many memories, and it reminded me of how great INXS' music really is. It sounds fresh after all these years. And what can I say about Michael. I remember when Kick first came out. I had my walls plastered with posters of the band and Michael. He just had something about him that gave you shivers. Those eyes? Who could forget those eyes. You are deeply missed now, and will always be. We hope you are resting in true peace, and will always know that your fans still love you and support you after all these years that you have been gone. Gone physically, but never spiritualy. Love you always Michael!! xxoo

I know it has been what 7 1/2 years since Michaels passing but he still missed greatly. Not only was he one of , no the greatest!, and most charasmatic lead singers of our time. He seemed to be the guy every girl wanted to be with and the guy every guy wanted to be. I still remember 20 some years ago hearing an early INXS song and asking my cousin , who the hell is this band and more importantly: who is singing with such a distinctive voice. And he said the singers name is Michael Hutchence and the bands name is INXS. I still remember thinking these guys are amazing and they are gonna be really big someday. Well Michael, since I am not as poetic as Jimmy Barnes or anybody else for that matter, let me just say , we miss you pal, we love you, and we hope that you have found peace finally in heaven.

As a child Michael hutchence voice seemed to always fill my house. My mother and my aunt were madly in love with him and in turn he was my first real love!. When he passed it was the end of a love affair (or so I thought) now I am a little older and I realize that we will probably always love him.

I still miss the music of the group. Mike was so sexy and talented.....I loved Suicide Blonde
I heard it, went blonde for the better and have never gone back....You never know the influence another person has on another...I'm sorry I never got to see him perform live.

One of your songs came on the radio and I was reminded of your death, so young. I wondered why, and the pain - What are we doing in life where at times we feel its not living at all. How do you disassociate yourself from those momments of lifelessness to breakthrough to a concious lucid understanding of why we live and what is important. You are missed -your music still speaks and makes me think.
