Michael Hutchence was such a unique and spectacular singer and performer, and not forgetting being drop dead gorgous. I will never forget him, he was a true rock star in my eyes.

I saw INXS perform live in Mandurah when I was a teenager, and to this day it was the best concert that I have ever been to. Michael & the band were amazing. I am thankful that we were given the gift of Michael if only for a short time. Sometimes its those that are with us for a short time that stay in our memories for a long time...

Michael was truly one of the few stars in rock and of course the loss was indescribable, much the same as Janis. I will miss hearing that voice.

Michael, you left us years ago, but I've never forgotten you or your music. On October 22, 1995, my mother took herself from us as you did roughly 2 years later. Being a survivor of a loved one's suicide, I understand the depths of emotion your family and close friends felt and still feel at your loss. I pray peace for your eternal soul. Maybe you might serenade Mom if you should happen to meet in the beyond...? God comfort your loved ones and keep you in His care forever.

Michael, seemed a gentle, passive and likeable guy. Few have ever had the same presence as him. The guy is a legend! His songs are ageless, as is Michael......

I've been such a fan of INXS since your first two albums. Many of times all albums were played over and over again. Your departure from the band is sadly missed. I believe if you were around today the music and memories INXS would bring, the impact on the world. You are greatly missed with each year the passes and marks a huge void in the music industry. I hope you are at peace now and are making sweet music in heaven.

Today I have bought the dvd set I'm only looking from INXS. I couldn't wait to go home and watch it and so I did. But after seeing the video of Kiss the dirt (my favourite number) I couldn't help regretting that I will never see you perform live on stage again, something I loved doing in the past. I went to see U2 last Friday in Amsterdam, the concert rocked and it was good, but I will never get a thrill like I did every time I saw you guys perform on stage. Seeing the videos of INXS made me feel sad and realise that the special thing I still have with INXS and you can never be replaced by any other band, no matter how great they are. Nevertheless, watching the videos also makes me feel like dancing and I am singing along with every song and know them all by heart!!
Anyway, I would like to say thank you for all the beautiful songs you have given us!
