I was in absolute shock when I heard Michael had died. I was working and was on a lunch break when I heard the news. It was hard to return to work that afternoon.

I still listen to my albums religiously and sing along to the wonderful music the band created. Michael's soulful voice and amazing command of the lyrics speaks to me differently everytime I listen.

Thank you for so many wonderful memories and such wonderful music Michael. You are missed.

I've been a huge fan since Shaboo Shoobah was released and first saw them 20 years ago at St. Andrews Hall in Detroit before they really made it big. Michael was one of the best front men in rock and roll. I can only believe his death was an accident looking at all he was leaving behind. I hope you found your peace Michael.

Thinking of INXS brings back so many good memories. Your music was a huge part of my teenage life. Every song represents a chapter in my own life and when I here them now it just takes me back and makes me smile. The last time I saw INXS was in 1992 or so in San Diego and my friends and I has so much fun. Hearing about the loss of Michael just broke my heart. God bless you all.

Hello,
I was shocked when I heard that Micheal was dead cause he was part of my good memories as a teenager.

I think it's very sweet to put on a memorial in honour of Michael.

Thanks for giving us the opportunity to do this.

Michael, I hope there is no TV in Heaven. If so, unplug it and hang out in Hell for a few weeks, it'll be over soon.

Throughout my life when I received news of a celebrity's death, I might have been momentarily sad but I quickly got over it because I didn't know these people personally. It was different with Michael Hutchence. When my mom called to tell me the news, I wept. INXS had always been, (and still is), one of my very favorite bands, every since I first saw their “One Thing” video in early 1983. Over the years, I felt that I got to now and love Michael through his lyrics and live performances. He was a truly good soul who inspired the world. After becoming more spiritual in recent years, I have noticed how spiritual and uplifting Michael lyric's can be. He was a modernday profit. God Bless Michael Hutchence. I can truly say that when you died, part of me died with you. I will see you again someday my Good Brother.

“Listen Like Thieves” was playing over the hospital radio as my mother gave birth to me. INXS has been a part of my life from day one and it always will be. Michael I hope you found what your were searching for....

A best friend of mine made me an INXS cassette tape in the late '80s nad I wore it out. We've been checking out some videos of Michael had it brought it all back. What a gifted and talented man you were. You are missed and your legacy is solid.

Peace,
Kristine

I first saw INXS in concert when I was 15 and they were on their Listen Like Theives Tour. Michael tore the long stemmed roses I had given him during “One Thing”. At that time I cried and was sad, but it actually was a privledge. INXS will always be my all time favorite band!

As a teen I often liked to listen to INXS, I thought Michael had great vocals as well as the back up. It wasn't until Rockstar INXS, that I remembered the group. I will still continue to listen to the group although it will never be the same. Keep up the good work.

I started listening to INXS when I was about 7 years old. I am now 24 and I still love the music. I remember looking at the albums to find pictures of Michael and how I had such a huge crush on him. I love his music and I can say that it has always inspired me.

I first met Michael in 1983. When Inxs opened for Adam Ant. After following the band for several years I was fortunate enough to get to know Michael. I don't think there will ever be a nicer more down to earth man ever. Even after his popularity grew “his head” never did. You will never be forgotten!
