I can't believe I just found this website. I think this is truly a blessing to let us fans express how much we miss Michael. Growing up in the Midwest, music has always been a very important part of my life. The first time I heard INXS I was in shock. I wanted to know everything about them. When I saw them on MTV I couldn't believe my eyes! Michael was the most gorgeous man ever. Not to mention other bandmates as well! They were my life. I collected all of their albums,posters,shirts,buttons-anything and everything INXS I could get my hands on. I will never forget where I was and what I was doing when I heard the news about Michael's death. I sat in shock. I cried for days. I wasn't born when Jimi Hendrix or Jim Morrison or Janis Joplin died, but at that moment I could now understand what it meant to lose such an important rock icon. I was so devastated-I still am. I don't know if Michael's family and friends will read this but if they do I hope that they realize how important their son, dad, and/or friend meant to this world. He had such a presence on stage. He meant so much to so many people. I just wish he would have realized that. Thank you so much for creating this website. It means alot that people do still care about him and think about him. I know I do. Thank you!

Michael was a mesmerizing presence. He radiated a pure essence of sensual energy. He was a gifted singer and had a way of holding your attention long after he finished his song. After hearing Michael sing, I had to run to the cd player and play his music for the rest of the day! I still think about him and miss his presence terribly! This is a great site. Thank you for keeping Michael alive for us!

Hi,
Michael was without a doubt one of the most charismatic and talented frontmen of all time.......Personally, I wanted to design an album cover for INXS as they are one of my favourite bands,...All I have to say in the end is this.........
“What if death was the begining,..
And in birth you depart....”

For many years, there were only two bands that mattered: those four guys from Dublin and INXS. I was truly saddened by Michael's passing. His charisma reached across the miles and milieux and inspired my friends and me to celebrate life and to live like it matters. I hope I still live like that, especially with three children and a beautiful wife. I pray that Michael's family and friends have found peace and solace in the comfort of Michael's fans.
God bless.

Michael Hutchence was a great performer. I never got to see him in person but I was in the 7th grade when Need You Tonight first came out and I got my first experience in loving a rock performer. I have been mesmerized by him since. He is greatly missed and I am glad we have the music and videos to remember. So many of my life experiences are marked by some of his songs. So I will remember these moments with these songs forever. Thanks!!!

i saw inxs when they were in toronto, ont. canada in the 80's before michael died, and i have to say it was the best concert i have ever been to and i have been to quite a few. the energy that michael had was tireing for me lol.i was probably one of the oldest at the concert. Everytime i hear suicide blonde( seeing as it was my favorite) i always picture michael singing it. i miss his presence and his wonderful voice

I know the exact feeling of loosing someone so very close who meant so much to me. My father lived in severe pain and took his own life. To this day i still don't understand why I just try to keep moving on and remeber him the way he was a good person. I wish the family all the best I can and to remember all the happy times that you had while he was here it makes days much easier and better in such hard times. Michael was a great person and performer as well we all feel his loss.

How can I express my love and gratitude to Michael. What a glorious time to grow up. Politics were senseless, wars were evident everywhere. The world was chaotic and I was going through my early teens. It was a confusing time and I could find no solace except in Michael's voice. (personally, I did not even know you could wear out music cassetttes, no CDs at that time). Thank you Michael for helping me get though all the tough times. I am now a mother of two and a prominent writer, thanks to you. You live on.

its pretty crummy that such a great talent was so confused and so lonesome. and to leave behind music and words that to this day are still admired and appreciated. its a wild thing to know that he was doing fine or at least seemed to be and no one know or felt any kind of a hint that he was completely beyond empty and in pain. and only holding it all in until he could not live with facing the world. -Never Tear Us Apart' is a great song. he gave us all what we need.

I could sit and listen to him for hours. I just wish Michael was still here, it makes me upset that he isn't. His Tiger Lilly is a beautiful little girl and she is a credit to her father. Michael was a good and loving guy and its great that his fans from across the world can leave their thoughts and memories in this book for others to read.

Love and best wishes to all the family, the band and Tiger xxx

With his unique style and abundance of talent, the world is by far a lesser place without Michael. He is as missed today as he was the day I first heard.

I have loved inxs since the early 80's and was so honered to see them in Orlando. I miss Mike's smooth and sexy voice and the way he moved could make any woman swoon. I know he must be singing away up in heaven. My heaven will be hearing that voice again!!!!

This is a beautiful idea,I didn't know this was here until now.
INXS introduced me to rock music back in my early teens. I saw Michael slinking about in his leathers in the need you tonight video & it blew my mind! I promptly went out, bought all the back catalogue of albums & I never looked back.

My one biggest regret in my life is that I never saw him sing live. I always thought “oh well, I'll see them next time”...if only I'd known there might not be a next time. I thought INXS (with Michael) would go on forever.

Thanks Michael for everything you gave us... I will always remember you with a smile. Be happy, you deserve it babe!

I was watching VH - 1 over the weekend and saw the LIVE BABY LIVE concert, it was fantastic. Michael was such an effortless performer, and so charasmatic. His aura and INXS songs will last forever.

Lovely Michael

“Original sin” was the first song that made me discover INXS.Since then I was the biggest fan ever. Michael certainly is one of the most beautiful male voices in history, really ! I couldn't understand what happened in Nov 97. All I have to say is RIP, Mike, you're the best and will always be!

For Tiger,
Happy Late Birthday Sweet Tiger Lily!

For Kelland,
Happy Late Birthday and Thank You for yoour talented son, Michael, and your other wonderful children.

For everyone else,
I started listening to INXS as soon as I heard Don't Change in 1982 I was hooked. I got the honor to see the X Factor tour and the Dirty Honeymoon tour. It was so great seeing the band live. Michael just oozed charisma and sensuality on the stage, and that VOICE that went right through you no matter where you sat in the concert stadium. I miss him terribly. But at the same time I am glad his 5 “brothers” are keeping the music alive.
Love You and until we Hear That Sound of your voice again Michael, RIP

Until we all meet and sing together as one,
Love and Peace,
Renee
