I JUST WANTED TO SAY THAT INXS WAS THE FIRST CONCERT I HAD EVER GONE TO IN FRESNO, CALIFORNIA. IT WAS ABOUT 21 YEARS AGO AND I WAS 16 YEARS OLD. THE BAND INXS IS TRULY ONE OF THE BEST BANDS IN THE WORLD. I HOPE THEIR MUSIC CONTINUES ON FOR GENERATIONS TO COME. I THOUGHT MICHAEL WAS AN OUTSTANDING MUSICIAN AND ENTERTAINER. HE WAS BEAUTIFUL TO LOOK AT, AND WHEN HE WAS ON STAGE YOU JUST COULDNT TAKE YOUR EYES OFF OF HIM!!! HE WILL DEFINATELY BE MISSED VERY MUCH!! HIS VOICE AND WARM SMILE WILL REMAIN WITH ME FOREVER.

I think Michael was one of the greatest singers and stage performers ever. His stage presence was great . I got to see one of the concerts and he had rose petals in is hair and they gradulally fell out when he slung hi shead around while singing and dancing. I think that is how he would liked to be remembered.

I am a huge fan of Michaels. I am now a pastor. As I listen to Michaels lyrics I hear a Christian influence. Many of his songs were about our relationship with God. This is what i hear. Micheal thanks for sharing the gospel thru your songs.

Im only 18, but I think INXS is one of the best bands ever. Michael can never be replaced, but INXS will still rock!

Canada's Wonderland (amusement park), sometime in the late 80's, I went into the video making suite, and looked at the list of Karaoke songs to air band my way through...to be recorded for all time on tape...to make me look like a fool, and what song was the one to catch my eye, my heart, my mind...Devil Inside...

I loved Michael (& INXS) very much even though I of course did not know him personally, but his lyrics and music spoke to me in many ways. Michael was a true poet and I still miss him daily, we are all very lucky to have him live on through the music.

I was lucky enough to see INXS live in Berlin and just before Suicide Blonde started up (quiet moment) I screamed at the top of my lungs 'I love you Michael'*emm I was only 15 smiles) he looked in my direction and put on a cheeky smile and said 'I love you too' I will treasure that memory forever - thank you for being the amazing person you were and for sharing yourself with us through your music.

I will carry on loving you through your music everyday.

I lived in Melbourne from 81-83.It was impossible to get to see INXS,the gigs were sold out in minutes.I was stunned when Michael died,it seems like it was yesterday.I thought that would be the end of INXS.I was really surprised to see the TV program Rockstar INXS.It was great to see all the guys after all these years.Hard to believe it was 1997 that MH left us.

I just wanted to say that I first saw INXS in the mid to early 80's and when the curtain went up it was like magic. Michael was magic. He gave off such amazing energy that you could just feel it. After that it was all things Michael Hutchence for me. He was one of the greatest perfomer's of all time's and one of the best lyrist and of course can't ever forget that cat like sex appeal. My prayer's are always w/him and especially his daughter. May God bless him, Lilly and all that loved and continue to love the amazing and breathing takikng Michael Kelland Hutchence. “Never Tear Us Apart”

Love and Blessings,
Mitra

Thoughts from Denmark....
I remember the long walk to school in the eightees. It was winter and cold as hell. I had my cheap walkman and my INXS tape, listening to “New Sensation” over and over again.
When Michael was with Helena Christensen, he was offen in Denmark. The tabloids chased them around... I hoped I would bump into him one day. That never happened unfortunately. I beleive INXS was supposed to play at The Roskilde Festival back in 97, I had decided back then if so, that would be my first INXS gig. Sadly that didn't happen either, because of Michaels tragic departure. Anyway, just want to say. Michael was an outstanding rocksinger, he wasn't afraid of showing his feminin side which made him a sex-icon in my ipinion. He is missed...

Dear Susie and Rhett,

My loving thoughts are with you both today (21/07/05) for Kell's birthday.
I give thanks to him for his love and dedication to create this wonderful tribute to Michael and it's so heartwarming to know that people from all over the world still come here for Michael. I think Kell would be honoured to know that love continues to flow from all around for Michael and that his memory will never fade.

Kell was a wonderful man and I hope that you have a reflective day to celebrate his birthday with all the many loving memories.

Thank you also to Mario and Ian for the upkeep of this sacred site for Michael. There is not a single day that goes by where he is not in my heart and thoughts.

Loving you forever Michael, your star burns brightly for eternity.

I first heard micheal hutchence sing with INXS in 1988, I was 13 years old, and instantly fell in love - I listened to nothing but INXS for the next 10 yers. For my birthday my parents took me to the kick tour, it was a lot of money for them, and we were right in the back row. It was the best concert I have ever attended, and if I close my eyes , I can still see and feel it all. When michael died, I was a mother of 2 children , it shocked me to the core, i cried for days, not able to comprehend what had happened my heart went out to his family especially his parents as to lose a child no matter how old they are is so wrong. I was distressed when paula also ended her own life as now tigerlilly was now left to grow up in a cruel world with neither of her parents to guide her . I know that it must be hard for michaels parents that she now lives with Bob, but having her sisters with her will be invaluable, to michaels family i send my love I hope that you are able to look upon micheals accomplishments with pride and know that you were the best parents you could be, He allways struck me as a really great person with humility that kept him grounded be proud I really wish that I could have met him, but through his talent, in a way I did.

I will never forget Michael and his presence as a front man...He dignifies my all time top 5 of a lifetime!!! I used to be on the road with the band, as my X boyfriend was Bobby Daniels who did the sound for INXS...Monitors...we toured with INXS and I had the wonderful chance to stand onstage just over to the side while Bobby mixed the sound at the soundboard and I watched 300,000 peoples faces from the stage at the US festival embrace the band, as one of their first appearances in 1984 on such a large scale...Michaels lyrics were always the keys and notes to my heart and to my very soul...and I thank him and God for putting him on the planet the same time as I am!!! I am Profoundly changed by his music and his very positive, exactingly curious, keenly sharp acutely passionate life! God Bless You always Michael and I know He does!!!He knows the truth of who you are and why...

INXS had a big impact on me as a child growning up during the MTV era. The first videos I saw from INXS were “Devil Inside”, and “Need You Tonight”. Which to me are still two of the greatest songs, and videos ever made period. Plus Michael Hutchence and the rest of the band are one of the first groups who got me into music more than ever, and made me think he maybe I should get a band together. Also every time I saw new video of theirs I just kept thinking these guys will be around forever will dominate the whole world and only keep getting bigger. I also thought there was no way they wouldn't get inducted into the rock 'n' roll hall of fame before the standard time a band had to be around for. Every interview I saw with Michael just made me think hey this guy is the kind of guy you could go up to after a concert sit down and talk with about everyday things with, then give a hug to and say goodbye. real down to earth and not just him but the entire band seems that way. When I heard of Michael's death it was actually the first time I shed tears for a celebirty not just because it was a tragic death of a star/celebirty. But because I had listen to their music for many years and many of the songs helped me through difficult periods in my life. I also thought wow there won't be anymore INXS or music from INXS ever again that hit me really hard. But you know we will see him again someday when we go to what ever is after life and he will be waiting there saying what took everyone so long....

I have honestly felt like I was Michael's biggest fan. Crazy or what? When Michael passed, my phone rang at least 15 times from friends around the US saying...'Did you hear?'...'Are you OK?'....That is because my friends knew that Michael and INXS music, has really gotten under my skin. I am 37 and became Michael's 'greatist' tan back in 1987 when I saw INXS play in Santa Barbara at a very small theater. I will never forget running down to the front of the concert getting in the front row and hearing the many songs from the early albums...The one thing was playing as I was running down towards the band with a my dear friend Sonya..........From that moment on, I was sold. Everytime INXS played in the SB or LA area, I made the time and was front row center.....

I really was so deeply saddened by his death in 97 and I still feel the loss. As the band appears to be moving on, it almost brings the saddness of hte loss back.....Does that make sense?

I have 2 small children of my own and I think of his little girl who must be close to 10 now. How sad for her that she will really not know her father. I hope that her family will make certain that she learns about him and feels his energy.

I have never written any remarks on a website before but for whatever reason, I feel compelled to do so. I guess it is all this hype about the the band. It makes me sad. What can I say.....

My best to the family and friends of MIchael.....
