i was in a record store the other day and i saw the anthology. i immediately, without thinking, picked it up and took it to the cashier. it's the first INXS purchase i've made since Michael left us. tonight i saw a book inanother store, and after looking at it for quite some time, i realized that i've been way too absent. this is the first time that i've ever been on any of the websites since his passing, and i'd like to say that i feel like i've come back to some part of my life that i, for too long, have been too sad to really venture into. this might sound incredibly corny, i understand, but i think that it's really important for me to say thank you to Michael's family, and all of his fans, who obviously have worked very hard to make sure that he is remembered... the website is beautiful, and i think it's time for me to start visiting all of the websites again, and to start remembering this man's talent, and the place it held in my life for so many years prior to his passing. Michael, i promise i haven't forgotten you.. i don't want you to think that i have.

to his family, friends, fans, and bandmates.. thank you

be well
Kat.

i was a pity that this wonderful person had to leave this world. i hope that life is better for him now that he is there. a person that people can never forget and want to forget. he has a wonderful daughter that is like him so that if anyone looks at her will see him.

I have been a fan of Michael and INXS since 1980 and like most visitors to this site acutely felt his loss in 1997 (my thoughts are still with his family and particularly Tiger). Therefore, I didn't quite know how I would feel seeing the band for the first time without him, as singer Jon Stevens put it, celebrating the music of INXS. Appropriate respect was paid with Jon S. paying tribute to “the man who stood in front of this band for 20 years” and a band member dedicating Never Tear Us Apart to “our friend Michael Hutchence”. Rest assured that (with the music Michael contibuted to the creation of) it was a fantastic rock show - if you get a chance DON'T MISS IT - AND HIS MEMORY DEFINITELY LIVES ON.

I was feeling disillusioned this evening after reading 'Just a Man'. I was wondering how Michael's mother and sister could disrespect his memory like that...

Then I happened to come across this wonderful website and felt so much better knowing that, here, there was a beautiful tribute to the memory of a wonderful man.

Rest in Peace Micheal - knowing that the world loves and misses you and that we are a poorer nation without you and your fantastic music.

You will live forever in the hearts of myself and my family through your fantastic music.

Congratulations to the family on a fantastic tribute to a fantastic man..

I have looked at your website for the past two hours and found it a wonderfully comforting place to go to remember Michael.. I have just read the book about him by his sister and mother and was terribly upset afterwards... They have turned his memory and life story into a contest about who knew him better..

Rest in Peace Micheal - knowing that some members of your family have created this beautiful tribute to your everlasting memory...

In 1989 I was walking down the streets of Viborg and met a friend of mine called Morten. We were both wearing walkmans. I was listening to some mixes by Duran Duran, and he was listening to “Kick”. We switched tapes and since then I was a Inxs fan. The first track on the tape was “Wild Life”. I'm proud to be a fan of Inxs and I miss Michael though I am a total stranger. This memorial website is beautiful. Be proud!

I have been a INXS fan for 16 years & I am so grateful that I have experienced alot of INXS music & got a chance to see them. Michael has influenced my life and even though I never got a chance to meet him I felt as though I knew him through his music. His lyrics were very deep, as he was. I think about how sad & sudden he left, his essence will live forever in all the hearts of everyone he touched.

I think this is a good website it helps fans feel close to michael...peace

Thank you Michael Hutchence for enriching my life. You have inspired me to look within myself and find that creative side that alot of us just seem to overlook. Your music always brings such a smile to my face. I have nothing but great and wonderful memories from the shows that I went to go see. Your music, energy, inspiration, talent and great sense of style will live on always.

Michael meant alot to me, his voice carried me through my teenage years. “To Look at you” touches my inner soul. I include Michael in my prayers. I too, know the torment of depression. If he only knew how he really touched my life. The hairs on the back of my neck still stand up when I hear his sweet voice.Thank you Michael. I will love and miss you forever.

Goodbye Michael
Though goodbye is hard
You were the sensual
Sweaty ringlet prince
Dancing in every girl's dreams

Why did you go
And where so early
Long before time said now

We miss you Michael
Beyond your flesh
We saw a sensitive soul
Who stood raw and exposed
Melting in the spotlight

There is not a day that goes by that I do not think of Michael and miss him terribly. My heart goes out to his family and friends. I never knew Michael personally, but soulfully wished I did for 12 years of INXS admiration before his death. Kudos to INXS for continuing on, kudos to Michael's family and friends for dealing so well with his unmistakably tragic loss. He will NEVER be forgotten nor will there ever be anyone else like him in my eyes. If I have ever had the capacity to love anyone whom I have never met - it was Michael.

I havent signed the guestbook in awhile so I figured i should again. I just want to keep sending my gratitude and condolences to his family. I just finished reading Just A Man and it was a wonderful book. I also bought the anthology today and it truly is a great set of songs, especially the Searching remix at the end. After reading the book and listening to Elegantly Wasted again I could finally understand things that before then I could not. I no understand who Sweet Sister T is, just figured that out this morning. That album especially shows his love for his family. When I read about people downing his family it outrages me because they didnt know him and if they did, they didnt know the whole story. Anyway, once again thankyou. Sorry for taking up so much space but this was on my mind.

I still feel numb when i hear one of Michaels songs..it still seems like it was just yesterday when i heard the news.. I was hosting a shopping tour..our bus driver put the radio on as we waited in traffic, thats when the shocking news came through.. It silenced the whole bus! 40 hyped up, shoppaholic women! No-one wanted to believe it. It's amazing how such a wonderful man could touch all of our hearts..and he did. My deepest condolences reach out to all of his family who knew and loved him more than any one ever will. And to Tiger Lilly, may god bless your beautiful soul, you'll see your daddy up in heaven one day!

Just watched the Aspen Show again on video. Saw and heard Michael and the band sing “Searching”... If you could face the pain and I could do the same it would be clear tomorrow but will it start again. - This song means so much to me. Thanx Michael and INXS. Luv u Judith!

God, I still remember the day I heard about it-that's when my youth ended. Never realised until then how much Michael Hutchence meant to me as a guy growing up. Thanks for the website, I'll keep coming back
