Dear Mr. Hutchence,
Thank you for being so steadfast in maintaining a place for positive discussion and memories of Michael. I work in the media and had to read the news of Michael's passing which was difficult for two reasons. #1) I am a very passionate INXS fan and I wholeheartedly believe they were getting better. Elegantly Wasted is a fantastic record that was greatly underrated. #2) Michael's death came on the heels of the Princess Diana ordeal not to mention the death's of Mother Teresa and John Denver. Those were several months of very sad news. The bright light in all this tragedy is that gorgeous little girl that lives on and will always have a part of her incredible dad with her. Tiger will one day be heartened by the fact that millions around the world love her father and the legacy of music he left us. I know my adolescence would not have been the same without the “Kick” record. Michael was a virtuoso performer who was part Mick Jagger, part Jim Morrison but with his own unique twist. There is truly a Michael Hutchence stage presence and it has and is influencing the next generatin of rock acts. Long live Michael's sexy swagger! In 1987, INXS led the Australian Invasion and it couldn't have been more welcome. Thank You Australia and the Hutchence family.
With much love,
