Dear Kelland-I saw you on VH1 last night talking about missing Michael and what a waste it is for him not to be with us anymore on VH1's 100 most shocking moments in rock and roll and I have to say that the death of Michael Hutchence should have been ranked #1 instead of #65! I also have to say that I will mourn him every day for the rest of my life as well!!May he be happy and at peace!!!

Thankyou for this great site..a chance for real lovers of Michael to share their feelings. We all miss him and I don't think there is anything I can that hasnt already been said, but seeing Michael perform live was one of the highlights of my life..an experience that I miss.Michael was a huge part of your lives but he touched on mine ...I can only thank you for giving him to us and sharing him with us.I miss him so much and can only imagine how devasating his death must have been for those close to him...it hit me so hard and I was not fortunate enough to ever meet him.My thoughts and prayers go out to you and to Michael.I still can not hear his music without shedding a tear or two.Love, peace and respect always for Michael...a man greatly missed by so many. I really don't know what to say, even now, almost 4 years after the death of Michael. To be honest, I'm the world's biggest U2 fan and it's through them that I got to know and love INXS at around the time of Elegantly Wasted. (since then I've got the solo album and the best of). I was just getting into the music, into the heart, soul, and spirit of INXS and Michael when I heard one morning in the fall that his body had been found. I was shocked, I was hurt, and I was sad, because I felt the world had been deprived of someone so brilliant and pure, and good. I felt that even then, when I had only just recently started getting into the band and knew little about them. Since then I've learned a lot about Michael through other fans, and through the Irish lads themselves. I myself, am a singer in a band, and although most of my influence (vocal and performance-wise) comes from Bono, there is a definite Hutch presence there as well. I remember a fan telling me once how hurt she was when Michael died. I could relate though really because if something remotely similar happened to the B-Man... I dunno... I'd defintely feel what the fans of INXS have felt. I don't dare to claim that I'm hurt like an INXS fan is hurt, I mean I'm still new to it all. But I know when a good person, a good talent, and a good soul has been lost, and for whatever reason. We'll see him again, I'm sure. Until then, it's the preservation of his memory we must hold dear. Thank you Michael, your voice, and your heart, has touched millions of others, including my own. May you rest peacefully.

I loved INXS from the first time I heard them way back in the early 80's. “The One Thing” was the first song I think I heard. I was hooked. Then when I got a look at the beautiful man--Michael of course--I knew I was in love. Michael was my idol. He was even more amazing in concert...INXS concerts only bring back happy memories. The day I heard that Michael died, I thought for sure it was a mistake. I heard wrong--NO WAY! It was like it was when Elvis died for my mother. I was crushed. I only have happy memories and i keeo them close to me. When I hear a song by Michael or INXS I always smile. I hope he is happy where he is now...somewhere above in the arms of a greater power...

While digging up some old records I found my album of KICK wich I bought years ago. Good memories of a fantastic album and than the thought of the death of Michael Hutchence. While playing the album on an old record player I desided to go to the record shop and I bought the same record but this time on CD. I'm playing and singing the songs with great happiness just the way it is ment to be (while driving in my car usually).

In rememberence of Michael Hutchence a great Rock and Roll singer with a fantastic band INXS.

This is the most wonderful tribute 'site' for Michael. We all loved and miss him greatly. He lives on in his music, he was such a gentle soul and 'left' us too soon. God bless Michael - you are 'The wind beneath our Wings'.

What a beautiful site, a touching tribute to a talented man who impacted many lives. Like many others, I never knew Michael but always felt an eerie, inexplicable connection to him nevertheless. Thank you for sharing your personal stories, photos, and memories with us.

INXS came to Santa Barbara, where I live, to play on July 12, 1997. My wife asked me to take her, and I blew it off, thinking there would be another chance to see this band, which I had seen once before at the San Diego sports arena in 1991. I wish I knew that would be the last time INXS would ever visit Santa Barbara.

I was saddened with the announcement of now, the new INXS tour.It was very odd to me when they were going to play the US before it was cancelled, that people were so excited to see their first INXS show. How on earth could anyone experience an INXS show without MICHAEL????

TO MICHAEL'S PARENTS:

You are not far from my thoughts. You were an amazing artist who inspired me during my days at art school and you still do.I thank you for that and for producing some of the best music ever.Yours was a real talent that was respected and appreciated greatly by me.I not only saw the rock star but someone that was deep, intelligent and saw through the artificial world that we lived in.Your intelligence inspired me to read many books and made me see things that others didn't.Your work with Max Q was brilliant as you were. How interesting it is to hear yours and ollie olsens lyrics and see how brilliant your mind was and how relevant your words are today, especially “Ghost of the year”.Every year on your birthday and the date of your passing,i light a candle for you and i tell no one,it's just the 2 of us in a beautiful cathedral. Two years ago i was in the church saying a prayer for you on the date of your passing, and i asked you to give me sign that you were there listening to me,you did just that. That meant the world to me and others might think that i'm weird, but i know what happened, and i thank you for listening. You and i both love cathedrals and you are the only person i know that cries at the beauty of them. You are a special man,i only wish i had met you,we would have so much to talk about.Thank you Michael for all that you taught me,i will never forget you.

I just wanted to say i miss michael more than anything. I miss watching him winning the audiences with his beautiful voice. I miss him dancing across the stage and happy doing so. No one will ever know how much he means to me. Michael was the most warmest loving caring man i have ever seen. I would like to express my feelings to him by this poem i wrote. Michael was a warm guy righ away i could tell he fell from the sky. Michael was a love that had to come from above. Michael was an angel that landed on earth for a short time to tell each and everyone he cared and he was something that had to be shared. Michael was a differnt man with beauty and intellegence he showed the world what he could do and sing with one word he made my heart ring. Given by the lord for a short time but long lived his love will forever go on.

To dear Kell,

I believe you are heading over to England soon to spend some time with your beautiful little girl - I just wanted to ask of you, that when you take her in your arms and surround her with your love, please take all our love also - there are so many of us out here that wish for nothing more than her happiness and well-being, and I hope all those feelings go with you into her heart. Although I'm not one for supporting the invasion of people's privacy, it was almost a relief to see the photos of Tiger in the latest Hello magazine - she looks so happy and loved by her sisters - and how adorable she is, so much like Michael - he's never very far from her, as every time she looks in a mirror, she sees his beautiful face smiling back at her.

I hope you have a wonderful and special time with her, and I wish you and your family all the best, and continued good health to you Kell, so you can spend many more years with your beautiful little angel.

Lucy
