In songwriting, singing, and on the stage- your charisma and skill was beyond doubt. I'm so sorry you left us when you did, who knows what could have been accomplished in your life. If I could give honor to your musical legacy with my voice, I will do it. I pray Mr. Hutchence that those who are feeling despair and weariness of this world will see the warm affection that still lives here 7 years later for you and your memory, and will go on to find new purpose and enduring hope. I saw INXS live, unfortunately, only once. Michael was the real deal rockstar. No one will ever replace him. Maybe someone can help to promote his legacy by fronting the band in his honor with class and dignity.

Once again, it is that time of the year! At 12:30pm, I was listening to the radio KROQ and Richard Blade announce Michael's passing and today 11-24-04 at 12:30pm Star played “What You Need” and I felt that I went back in time. You are deeply missed MICHAEL!!! But we have you in songs and videos and that means your spirit is still here. You were part of my growing up in the 80's and even today I still watch ALL the INXS Videos with my 16 year old daughter. You are deeply missed and that VOICE!!! What can I say?! My thoughts are with the rest of INXS and of course your daughter!! Who was the apple of your eye!! Thank you Michael and the guys in INXS for everything!!!!

Miss you and your music Michael. I was lucky enough to see INXS play live in Riverside California on the Listen Like Theives tour. That had to be one of the best live shows ever. Anyway I doubt if anyone will even read this but all of us miss you Michael and the original INXS. There will never be a true replacment for you. RIP brother.
