I have always been a big INXS fan, first saw them on MTV (The One Thing, of course), had a majority of their CDs, and had been fortunate enough to see them perform live in Austin, TX November of 1993, Dirty Honeymoon Tour (I believe). Over the past few years, I had not played much of their music. Some of it just got burried and dusty on my CD rack. Then about a month or so ago, out of the blue, I pulled out their Greatest Hits and started listening to it. It was like falling in love all over again! What a feeling....such wonderful music, I felt guilty for having forgotten about them for so long. I proceeded to go out and purchase the missing CDs I did not have in my collection. I think Welcome to Wherever You Are is my personal favorite. I also was able to track down the DVD of the Wembley Stadium performance and have watched it atleast 5 or 6 times in the month I have had it. Unreal!!! It totally feels like you are front stage watching Michael perform at his peak. I also was able to get my hands on I'm Only Looking (DVD), which is great for the backstage footage and memories from the other bandmates. I think I will listen and enjoy Michael's music all of my life. I have realized it never gets tiring or goes “out of style”. He was a true talent, and a real “shining star”. Loved by many and still missed by many. Michael, we are thinking of you tonight and hope you are happy and have found peace wherever you may be.

Michael, you were beautiful. You deeply touched my life through your words. You will never be forgotten.

I could says this words in english but I preefer in spanish, my main language.....Para mi Michael Hutchence significa uno de mis primeros amores en la vida, desde que lo vi en el video de Disappear me parecio el hombre más bello del mundo....la manera en que expresaba lo que decía a mi corta edad podría ser no entendible pero lo fue, me converti en su fan y comenze a comprar discos de INXS y a llenar afiches con su imagen.. Despues de ese tiempo Inxs vino a mi ciudad pero yo tenía 13 años asi que no pude verlos =( pero los pude ver en su DEFINITIVE TOUR ya sin Michael, pero bueno lo ví desde una pantalla...... para mi escuchar su música es verlo y siempre me pareció fantastico verlo en el escenario a traves de videos.... hoy a 7 años de su muerte he escuchado diferente tipo de música pero INXS, Michael guardan un lugar especial en mi corazón........I have listened to different type of music but INXS and Michael have a special place in my heart. “Mystifime”

It is a sad day of rememberance for INXS, their families, and loyal fans. The sky opened up with rain today, marking my feelings towards this day of memorial for a great person, musician, and 80's icon. I thankfully got to see the band live in Syracuse, NY in the 90's - it was one of the best live gigs I have ever been to, for that I am so forever grateful! Michael, wherever you are, millions here are still smiling and singing you music, your memory, and your gifts! Thank you ever so much! May you continue to rest in eternal and serene peace!

I loved you from the moment I saw you and heard your voice in 1986. I miss you and still cry from time to time when I am alone listening to your music. I will love you forever.

I just want to say thanks to Michael to give us his songs, concerts; he was a great musician and poet and regards to the band too. Thanks

I met Michael and the rest of INXS when I was 12-yrs-old as I sat watching 'One Thing' on MTV. I followed them throughout the years until 1997 when I could no longer listen. For some reason I was afraid to listen. A month ago the music came to me through an odd set of coincidences. Today I remember Michael and I am no longer afraid. I am grateful for his spirit I hear through the songs. I hear him come alive again.

I can still remember the day as if it were just yesterday. I remember where I was, what I was doing that night I heard on the local radio station that you were gone...forever. My heart dropped and I don't think it ever made it back to the same place since that day. Thank goodness I had the chance to see you right before you left us. Thank you for the joy you did bring to us! Thank you for providing the music with which many of us grew up. Thank you for the inspiration and love. You are missed, but we know you are smiling down on us.
