I was hooked on INXS since the first videos on MTV and saw the band on the Listen Like Thieves Tour in Honolulu. The band was great and Michael had such a stage presence, he was an incredibly gifted man.

It's hard 2 believe it's been 7 years. I miss Michael so much. My band still performs “Shine Like It Does” at select shows. We are about to start our very first tour and I got a Michael Hutchence in memory of t-shirt Air brushed just for the occasion. I'll be wearing it at select stops on the tour.
Take care and much love to the family. How's Tiger Lilly doing?

There is something about Hutchence which puts him above many of his contemporaries. Be it his looks, his unique voice or his sheer on-stage confidence I challenge anyone who doubts his calibre to listen to the INXS catalogue for he and INXS are so much more than just one hit wonders. Despite what some critics have said he was never a poor mans Jim Morrison, he was a great songwriter, singer and front man. In short he was a musical legend and shall forever remain an idol to those that appreciate him the most, his fans.

It's so hard to believe it has been 7 years, it still seems like yesterday. At least his memory is still going strong, and he will never be forgotten. I will always cherish the memories i have of him, he makes my life brighter still. he is my own shining star.

seven years has pass and for all the people who remind you your memory is alive than ever. We all miss you on stage, your charisma, how you made us, the girls, realize than the sexier man exist and was the inxs frontman.
I can't express with words my feelings. The best I can do is look at the sky alone in my garden, smoking a cigarette and remember all the good times we spend with you singing never tear us apart or not enough time (my favourites) to feel you “ so close to me, yes I wish you were by my side”.
Rest in peace, my love. See you later

Michael,
it is very strange...
I haven't been thinking about you for some time, and then yesterday I first found this website and realized that it was on the memorial-day of your death - the 22nd of Nowember. To me you are not dead. You are very much alive. You are the inspirational guide that led me into music and INXS have always had a special place in my heart. I feel grateful for having seen your beauiful smile in the summer of 1993. I was 15 and attented my first real rock-consert ever. You were my shining hero! Because being too short and not being able to handle your loving fans that well, I was lifted up on my brother's shoulder. You were about to start a song, but saw me across the small venue, reached out your arms... waved... and smiled! I will remember that moment forever. I hope you have found the peace that life on earth couldn't give you.
I will love you always. Always.

I remember Seeing Michael, singing “night of rebellion” on countdown, when I was a kid. that was the first time I saw Inxs on tv. That inspired my love of music. he was one performer that gave 110% and makes me proud to be an Aussie.
