listening to “kick”...hard to believe its been 7 years..

the world misses you

Being a drummer I have always found Michael to be an inspiration in my musical career. It's still hard to grasp the fact that such an incredible talent is gone but will never be forgotten. In my eyes he was the coolest frontman that a great band could have had. I hope his family finds peace during this time of the year.

My Dearest Michael,

You have been my inspiration for so long. You are my everything. With each passing day, I think of you and I am reminded how much I miss you. No one could ever replace you, and I am very sad that they are trying to find someone else to be the lead singer of INXS. No matter what happens you are the best. I love you. I will never forget you. I am hoping to name my first boy Michael Kelland. Your such a beautiful person and you give me so much hope. When I think of you I smile. I love INXS and always will. It will always be my favorite band ever. It's so funny because my parents used to listen to INXS when they were growing up and now I am. I love to tell people about INXS and about you. I'm so proud of you and how far INXS has gone through out the years. I will never forget the impact you made on my life. You are truly an angel. I know you are in a better place where you can never feel alone. I hope one day I can finally see you in heaven. My beautiful Michael, you shine like it does, into every heart...

inxs always and still the greatest band ever . michael lives on and i am thankfull to him and all the guys .

As a teenager in the eighties, I used to buy every album that you would release.

After all these years, I still find my self immediately thinking of Micheal Hutchence, when I hear, or see anything related to INXS.

In my opinion, the only front man that has ever really worked with your band has been Micheal.

Im not that keen on the sound that John Stevens puts out, because I feel that he is more suited to performing solo, than working with a band.

I hope that with this auditioning process you can do justice to the memory of Micheal by getting someone who respects Micheal enough to not try and be his clone.

There doesn't seem to be a part of my life that wasn't accompanied by an INXS track. Michael was a true poet and had a way of putting a lifetime of feelings into one song. He had an amazing view of the world. He is missed, but his talent lives on through his words and the songs of INXS.

Michael, I wish that I could have known you and held you and told you that it would all be OK.

Firstly the 22nd November was a horrible day. I always remember the beautiful man who I adored for years as a young girl growing up, and still do.

I have been reading about the 'reality TV' show we will see where INXS look for a new frontman. I dont know how the hell INXS can do this. Wasnt Michael their 'brother'. I understand that you have to move on blah blah blah but there will NEVER be anyone who can sing like Michael and I dont think any true INXS fan would want anyone else at the helm of THEIR band. We miss you Michael and INXS existed no more for me, after the day you died. xx Peace xx

Even though it's been 7 years since you left us, you are never far from my thoughts. Thanks for all the joy and wonderful memories you brought to my life, through your words, singing, acting, and simply by your presence. The world is a better place...
