I have only known your music for a few years, but it is great. An extraordinary talent you were, and an incredible loss for the music world, who lost one of the most charismatic singers in a very long time. Your music takes one higher.

It's difficult to put into words what the loss of Michael Hutchence means to the pop/rock world. In the true sense of the word, Michael was a true “Rock Icon”,with very few people able to match his raw talent as a front man, his vocal ability, song writing talent, and his overall charisma. It's a monumental loss. The main thing we should remember is that Michael Hutchence was a real person- a man who never let his ego get in the way. He never asked for stardom, it just came naturally. The fact that he never put himself ahead of the band during all those dynamic years together shows you his true character. He was very unselfish and highly respected by his bandmates. No-one expected his sudden passing. Although we all thought we knew him in some way or another, the only person who knew Michael was Michael himself. He will never be equalled. Michael, thank you for your contribution to the Rock world. Your legacy will live on forever. Sadly missed but never forgotten.

I have always been a big fan of INXS, and enjoyed seeing them play in Kansas City. Michael Hutchence will forever be one of my favorite singers as well as INXS will always be my favorite band.

We all loved Michael! A tremendous talent and an intelligent, thoughtful guy. One of a kind. Seeing INXS at the Mesa Amphitheatre in Arizona (1986); with Los Lobos, and I think, if memory serves correctly, Cold Chistle, was one of my concert-going highlights. I listen to INXS all day at work and I never tire of it. Thanks guys! Great meeting some of you in 03,' good luck with the future!

Lo mas grande que ha dado la industria musical, mejor grupo y mejor cantante de rock.

What can i say, your music spoke for itself.

A talent very few of us have, to be able to express ourselves as you could and that is why so many can relate to your music and your life.

The highs the lows that life throws at us, but an inspiration that is, was, your life.

Love and Peace...........

i've been singing challenging rock vocals (plant. daltry, bon scott, henley, mellencamp, etc)in bands here in canada for 20 yrs.(AS dvd says, “toughening up my skills”)all the time been trying to put a six pce. original band together of pro players with same instrumentation as inxs, without success, but never giving up, for the pure pleasure of singing and performing. never saw you guys live but just got your dvd to help me study to prepare for auditon. I Knew my voice was similar but since now under rehearsal,I get chills up my spine how shockingly similar my vocals and stage presence are to michael. I will pour my heart and soul into your music lybrary for next few months to get prepared to show you all in Toronto, FEB.4 how I can help to keep the great INXS BAND ALIVE with all the power and passion my voice can deliver. thankyou to all the band for such a great dvd and giving me the chance of a lifetime opprtunity. I hope to make you proud that you searched across the globe to share your music with the world. see you in Toronto

I was privilaged to see him in Inxs' final tour of the US with Michael, in Sacramento Ca. it sticks with me to this day. I feel for all who appreciated him probably more than I do, but he was/is a great talent. I always miss great musical talent, a loss & a great waste of talent.

I will always remember where I was when I learned of Michael's death. His voice was an anthem to my generation. What a tragedy to loose someone so talented and young. I am thankfull that i had the chance to see INXS live. He was an amazing performer and artist.

I saw Inxs when Kick album was released. I had NO IDEA who they even were back then. I left the concert not able to hear at all from music blasting way louder than needed, but a HUGE fan of the band let me say. I can remember Michael running around & sitting close on the enourmos speakers & singing his heart away.
I have a Inxs shirt some place & am very proud I still have it. I have had Kick on tape & just recently got a copy on cd...yay!!

Michael why did you have to leave us all? You had such a singing talent & were notbad to look at as well. Any how I hope you have found your peace now.

A fantastic vocalist and sadly one of the most under-rated frontmen in music. Michael was the closest thing we had to the complete rock star after Elvis. Talent, Looks, Charisma. The man is a loss to music lovers everywhere.
