My heart is still heavy today with the loss of Mr. Michael Huthence. I remember the day I won front row tickets to their concert in Syracuse, NY. It was the best concert I have ever attended. Being a Black woman and loving INXS's music was a hard thing trying to expalin to my friends but I've loved their music from the get go, it started with Don't Change. I have a video with all their music from 1980-1990. I love watching it and do so on a regular basis so I can still enjoy Michael's voice and style. I regret not going to their concert here in DC back in September 1997, I had other plans and was sure I would be able to see them at a later date. I kick myself everytime I think about it. I lost a part of my inspiration the day he died. Thanks for listening

I have been listening to your music my whole life,(I'm 21) I can never get tired or hearing it. You have this sound that is a catagory all its own, and Michael is one of the reason for it. He was an icon for the 80's and 90's. The girls wanted him and the guys wanted to be him. His memory will last forever in his music. Good luck with the search for a new singer, they may come close, but there will never be anyone like Micheal.

It was truly a very sad day when we lost Michael. He will never be forgotten.
I'm glad Michael shared his gift with the world. I've always thought he had such a cool voice--so much range, so much soul. “Suicide Blonde” is my favorite song. I guess my biggest memory of INXS is being like 9 years old and seeing “Need You Tonight” on MTV...my best friend and I had such a crush on him. He was my first rock star crush, actually.

For me it's very difficult to express in few words what is MH for me. Definitly, none like him. One of the great voices in the world, so powerful, shrill, warm. The great, I think. His art is like him, full of pride and soul, unforgettable. Where are you now, Michael? Can you hear me? I love you, always. But you know that, isn't it? Stand by me, Michael, please. I feel you...
Michael was the most charasmatic, talented, and fantastic performer of his time. He seemed such a sweet down to earth guy. Much love to the rest of INXS - hope to see you guys back real soon. We've missed ya!!
As a young male musician, growing up in the states, Michael made a lasting impression on my life. I remember seeing the video for Don't Change on MTV when it first aired. The music and the sound of his voice just blew me away. I was a drummer at the time then later became a singer. I have always been influenced by his voice and his style. To this day even his fashion influences the clothes I wear...lol. What can you say? What a cool...cool dude. I will be auditioning for the inxs rock star part in Charlotte, NC on the 25th. Michael could never be replaced but I will feel priveledged just to take part in this. Michael...you will never be forgotten.

i was only 10 years old when Michael died i remember curling up on the floor cryin as a 10 year old i loved his music and i loved him i knew quite a lot about him and his music i still listenin to his music and remember him
I first heard of inxs just before Michael's death. At first i was like what kind of band is this? When i heard of his death in 1997 I was only 13 years old, i was too naive and not involved with music enough to understand the signifIcance of his death. Now into 2004 i realize how importent michael is. The first song i ever listened to was need you tonight. It seems like whenever an INXS song is being played, it feels like Michael is there. We will all miss you michael. Like U2, i i wish i realized you guys sooner. thanks
