My review of 'Live Baby Live'

Few words can really describe the awesome spectacle that took over Wembley Stadium. Such an event rarely shakes the ground beneath it, but the sea of 72,000 people on that legendary day registered big time on the Richter scale. INXS who headlined the gig took control that night and delivered an unbeatable live performance right from the hard hitting “Guns in the sky” through to the magnificent “Devil Inside”. Michael Hutchence, lead singer, captured his audience and effortlessly sang and danced his way through all of the 22 songs that exploded from the stage. Here INXS could do no wrong, “Suicide Blonde” whipped up a frenzy of excitement in the crowd that rocked with controlled devastation. During “What you need”, Michael Hutchence points his mic and announces to the crowd “we gonna get you all singing tonight ! “And that audience gave something magical back and sing they do. It's truly an awesome experience to watch a man in action that can literally hold an entire audience in his hand. It's certainly something of an achievement for INXS who have fought consistently and passionately to be accepted in the UK. This spectacular performance and execution of songs has reinforced that the band can rise to the challenge. This concert will no doubt go down in history as one of INXS' best concerts ever and one could also argue as one of the greatest concerts of all time.

There will never be anything like it again.
