We are 18 years old so did not have the pleasure seening INXS live. We always new who INXS were growing up in Australia. but over the years we have discovered their timeless music which will carry Michaels voice and memory on through the ages. Looking back and watching clips of him and the impression he left on the people around (the band, bono, larry, family..etc) him was very touching and at times surprisingly overwhelming, something that we will always remember.

INXS,
Thank you for all your music you have made and shared with us! Your “LIVE BABY LIVE” DVD at Wembly was great and listening to you talk about this experience and Michael was very touching. The advice and knowledge you have made over the years is invaluable, thank you Andrew.

This website is a great tribute to Michaels memory, we just have to sing 'baby don't cry' to ourselves when we read it...

Love and happiness forever,
Erin and Shannon

Coming across this site was a wonderful ! I had the fortunate opportunity to see INXS with Michael play a VH1 special about 10 years ago.. Basically a very intimate setting with a couple, at most, thousand HUGE INXS fans. I was in the front row, and WOW, was Michael Hutchence a site to see ! He was an amazing performer, with an amazing smile, and the most unbelievable stage performance I had ever seen. I was a fan walking into the concert, but I was a “follower” walking out. I was so saddened when shortly after he took his very blessed life. I know his family must be extraordinarily proud of him, and so sad without his daily presence. What a nice tribute you have put this page together -- I'm thrilled to have the chance to offer my tribute. Best, Jeanne

I too had the awesome pleasure of seeing INXS on there Kick Tour in 87. This is the band I grew up listening to and I still listen to them to this day. I remember pushing my way up to the front just to see them perform.“It was awesome and a night I will never forget”!!.My favorite song “Never tear us apart”.Michael “May your spirit live on for a thousand years”.

I had the pleasure of seeing INXS way back in 1986, in Austin TX. I was so excited to see my favorite band, and was not disappointed by the show. I remember getting to the front and almost having a stroke being that close to Michael thinking he was singing only to me. Rest in peace and thanx for all the music memories

I loved looking at this site with all of its content. I first heard INXS in the early 80's and was hooked instantly. Recently I was able to get a hold of the DVD of the concert at Wimbley Stadium...wow! I was never fortunate enough to have seen them in person, unfortunately now I never will. This DVD gave a closer look at the huge talent and charisma of a man who was far deeper than most even knew. I have read other postings about his sex appeal and how he was mesmerizing...I truly agree that he had a way of drawing you into what he felt through the music that he so passionately sang. What a gift it is to have had him for even the short time that we did...much like the loss of another great charismatic singer Jim Morrison. I will forever and always see INXS with Michael at the lead...I now have the DVD to remind me of that special time in our lives that we were blessed to have heard his voice...a voice of love, poetry, charisma and depth that was silenced only in life not in our minds. We can pick up a CD or DVD and hear his voice and the music that changed our lives. Thank you so much for this site...I lost my father to suicide in 89' and share in the loss that the family feels, especially that beautiful child Tiger Lily. Sandra

I am only 14 years old and never really knew much about INXS or Michael until i while ago. I switched on the TV and there was a INXS concert on. I later found out that there were 70,000 people in the audience. The moment i saw Michael i could tell how very special he was. The moment he started in sing i fell in love! The very next day i went out and bought their Live Baby Live album that had many of their classics on it. I listen to it everyday and absolutely adore it. It is one of my most treasured possesions. Most of the songs on the album were written by Michael and his good friend Andrew Farris. To me, this shows how timeless Michael's music really is. Even now millions of people all over the world listen and love his wonderful voice and music. Michaels tragic death brings a tear to my eye everytime i here about it. But i have found that michael will never be really gone. He is alive in his music and always will be. He was such a handsome guy and his smile melted my heart. And so even though i never knew him, Michael will always be a friend to me. Because of his ability to make me happy with his superb voice, his wonderful music and his heart warming smile.
Rest In Peace Michael. You were such a beautiful man.
With much love,
Jess

it's so strange how our mood can change from water to wine...
just a few minutes earlier I was laughting with my two cousins on the phone and now i'm just in tears reading another story about someone who met Michael.
Sounds freaky or crazy but it's still unbelievable for me until I read or see something that confirms Michael's not here anymore.

Mike,
It doesn't matter how many years it will pass or how many things will happen in my life... nothing will erase you from my heart and mind.
I can't help looking at the sky and not think about you...look at all the pictures in my wall and not miss you.

Rest in peace, be ok..wherever you are. love you :'(

I just bought my first INXS album after loving them all these years. Michael and the bands work was truly genius, and will always be adored by the world. Although INXS will never be the same without Michael, I will still continue to appreciate thier music. It was such a treat to watch Michael on MTV. He was so energetic, yet mysterious, and has the coolest voice. I am so happy that this site exists so that he can be remembered forever!!!

I know my wife left a tremedous message before but I would like to add a fewof my own thoughts, and say a proper good-bye to Michael. I am a product of the 80's and INXS'music is part of my life and my soul. I wanted to tell his father how lucky a man he was to have such a wonderful son! I was shocked to hear of Michael's death and it has taken me a long time to get over it. I love the way he lived and sang an his spirit lives on with me, everytime I play a CD or see his face. I think I have a large amount of his work as well as every INXS CD I could get my hands on. His voice his self expression filled me with a feeling of joy, its hard to put into words what his music has done to me, and done for me. I will always miss you Michael, and love you. Michael's memorial here made me cry, to look at the pictures and read as I wept. The music industry lost a marvelous talent that day back in 1997. I would like to say my good-bye's to Michael and Kelland Hutchence, and rest well you awesome souls! I will never forget you Michael nor your music and am honored to see your last performance in that little Coca_Cola Ampa Theater on the outskirts of Pittsburg PA. Your music lives on inside me and where ever I go. I will never tire of it.
God Bless you Michael and Kelland
Love Michael S.

Michael what a great talent, that changed music today, from what Inxs did from the early 80's.
Michael will always be forever NOT forgotten. I can only hope his family finds peace in his eternal peace. Please let everyone remember that life must go on for the living, and Inxs should always honor Michael's memory by playing the music they created. I am sure Michael will be looking down with much pride that Inxs did not die with him. Rock on Michael and Inxs.
