A day like today 8 years ago. The shocking news came on CNN as I woke up and was having breakfast. I just couldn't believe it.
That strange feeling is still around.

Today, unlike Michaels other anniversaries, I woke and said to my wife, “how quick has time passed since Michael Hutchence had passed away, 8 years today”.
8 years on and a lot has happened in my life, mostly good things, watching our children grow into young adults, and the next generation of INXS lovers and through they're enjoyment of INXS's music keeps Michaels memory alive.

I can't believe it has been eight years already. Although it is only the 21st here, it is the 22nd in Australia so I thought I would leave my message today. Michael, please know that you are, as always, in my heart and your music lives in my soul. As your candle burns tonight in my home, may your soul soar across the heaven knowing that you are not forgotten and are always loved.
