Thinking of you today and what a wonderful performer you were. Memories of many INXS concerts, but the best ever was Wembley 1991, such a fantastic day. The world lost a truly great rock star 8 years ago today. Never forgotten.

As i write this i'm listening to INXS. i can't believe Michael has been gone for 8 years, yet his music and voice is so utterly fantastic. I remeber the first time i saw michael. It was the INXS concert at wembly stadium. I was quite interested coz my mum had told me so much about Michael and how brilliant he was. So i switched it on...and sat there in awe for i don't know how long. I was totally lost in the music and in Michaels voice. I went out and bought Live Baby Live. Since then i have listened to the cd non stop.
I think about michael all the time. What a fantastic musician he was. What a passionate and talented guy he was. How utterly sexy he was. I t breaks my heart to think he's been gone for 8 years.
But i listen to michael and think of him as a friend. He is the one who picks me up when i'm down and cheers me up with his wonderful music. So, you see, he'll never be gone coz he lives in his music. As long as we carry on playing his music, singing along till our throats are sore and dancing till we're exhausted, he'll be here forever.

I think about you every day. Your voice is always filling our home, even for my 8 year olds birthday party, New Sensation for “pass the parcel”. It is so awsome when ever your lonley or feeling down you can turn up a cd or dvd and visit a friend, who always fills your heart, makes you dance and sing!!

Michael - 8 years have passed - is it really that long? I miss you and your music more each year it's not the same without you. I am the same age as you were now when you left and it feels so strange - I was in Sydney when you died and was outside the church at your funeral - I loved you then and will always love you - I hope you are happy and look down on all of us who miss you and love you. You will always Stay Young in our hearts.
