It's a tragedy lose such a talented guy.

There's is one song that I love (I love all but this one is special) and I use it in my wedding when my fiancé, Maristela, (now and always my wife) came into the saloon where we got married.
It's called Beautiful Girl.

It's still very hard to believe you are gone. I have a good feeling you are a guardian angel to your family. You're body is not with us but your spirit and legacy will alway live on. As a huge fan of yours, there's an empty place in my heart but knowing you're in God's hands makes my heart full. God Bless you and your family. You are missed very much!

Michael, I don't get a chance to visit here very often but there is not a single day that goes by where you aren't in my thoughts and heart. You are all around me in pictures, your music blaring constantly in my car. videos, dvd's cd's always at a hands reach.. Loving you with all my heart.

INXS was the first rock band I sought on my own and truly loved. I have all of their albums and must admit that some of their earliest music is some of my favorite. “Stay Young” is in near constant rotation on my IPOD. INXS was, and still is, my favorite band and I'll never forget the day my friend called and said that Michael was dead. I never saw that coming. There was nothing about his public persona to indicate that something like this would happen. I also must say that as a thirteen, fourteen year old girl, Michael just absolutely represented sex to me. He was a total rock god, like Mick Jagger, and to this day, few others even come close. I saw INXS live once, in about 1992, in support of X. It was an incredible show, to say the least. And I always thought I'd see him again...

I'm positive growing up with INXS music, and the swagger in Michaels voice made me the rockstar I am today. Working the 9 to 5 grind, driving home, I can pop in any CD and remember great times...and ex-girlfriends..lol rest in peace mike! INXS forever. thanks.

I came across this site by accident,but am more than pleased I did.Many memories were recalled as I saw MaxQ,not a name that many recall in NZ.However I was living in Melbourne in '89 and remember them perfectly.From the first time I heard “burn for you” I was a fan.In the early '90s I attended a concert at the tennis centre in Melbourne and still get nostalgic every time I hear “never tear us apart”.My flatmate in Melbourne had worked with Michael on Dogs in Space and we watched it religiously every friday before hitting the town.I'm now 37 with a family of my own and still a huge fan.It was a sad day in '97 when I heard the news of Michaels loss and have watched with interest at the “replacements” but none have or will ever come close to the original.

I am a trial court judge who listens to INXS on my way to work. The music is so haunting that I wanted to learn more about the people who created it. My search led me to this site. I am sorry for the family and friends who have lost such a bright light. I hope to meet Michael on the other side and tell him how much I enjoyed his music.

MICHAEL HAS BEEN AN INCREDIBLE INFLUENCE ON MY MUSICAL INTERESTS SINCE I FIRST SAW THE VIDEO “THIS TIME” ON MTV IN THE USA. I FIRST SAW HIM PERFORM IN SAN ANTONIO TEXAS IN THE MAJESTIC THEATRE WITH MY TWIN SISTER AND MANY CLOSE FRIENDS AND WE WERE ALL SPELLBOUND BY HIS CHARISMA ONSTAGE AND THE BANDS TOTAL PERFORMANCE OVERALL. I ADORE HIM AND ALL THAT HE HAS BROUGHT TO THIS EARTH.

Michael, even though I never met you.. you will always have a special place in my heart.

I just wanna say that I'm sorry for all of us because you're not here. First time I saw you performing was in Rock in Rio II, 1991. I was 14 and couldn't go to that concert, but I watched on tv. Since then, people came in and went out of my life, but you are still here. Sometimes your songs cause me pain for your loss... I just can't believe that almost 10 years have past... You're the only one, INXS isn't the same and will never be. We love you! Rest in peace, my dear!

I lived through the eighties listening to inxs, my heart was torn with the loss of Michael.
I truly miss him and always will
