I believe that when a person's soul enters the pearly gates of heaven, it sheds all it's earthly burdens. But, the person never forgets who and what they left behind. So...that being said, I think Michael is free and hasn't forgotten about any of us. I'm sure he's up in heaven with his dad and Paula...probably singing them a beautiful melody, while they sit back and enjoy.
