It has been said many times, that more than anything you wanted to have mattered, to have made a difference, to have been relevant.

I became a man during the age of INXS. MTV and college filled my life during my late teens and early 20's. Not a day goes by without a Miachael Hutchence/INXS song playing through my IPOD or home stereo. Much as the Beatles were to one generation, INXS is to many others. To have the looks, talent and the sound Michael had in addition to the rest of INXS's talent was once in a lifetime. Thank you for the Wembley Live Baby Live DVD. After reading the INXS book and watching the extras on the DVD I have a new appreciation for the leap of faith it took to spend the money on that investment. As a professional photographer I can't thank you enough for what a gift that continues to be for the world to enjoy. Amazing! It has inspired me to learn the guitar and I'm trying to play along where I can with INXS. Thank you guys. I love you.

Michael Hutchence's life and legacy are best understood by his profound music.

Michael, you're our Shining Star, The Messenger, The Loved One who was Heaven Sent. You taught us to have Faith in Each Other. You truly cared about others, led a Wild Life with Good and Bad Times, and kept Searching for the One Thing of What Love Is. You were so much larger than life and we loved to Hear That Sound of your incredible voice, heart-felt lyrics and unique songs that transcended traditional music.

Regrettably, with fame came the unrelenting thunder and Tiny Daggers of a media storm and personal strife that Cut Your Roses Down, and you're the one Who Pays the Price. Very few realized you were Just a Man and how much you suffered inside. Tragically, you had Not Enough Time on Earth; as you felt you could not Put the Pieces Back Together of your shattered life and didn't see the Possibilities other than to Kill the Pain and Slide Away. You prophetically sang in your song Never Tear Us Apart, “I told you if we could fly, cause we all have wings but some of us don't know why”. We hope you were able to Make Your Peace and obtain Freedom Deep within you.

You greatly loved your Beautiful Girl, Tiger, as your daughter was Everything to you. It's unfortunate that you're not here to share your life with her.

Michael, you are sadly missed and you will never Disappear in our hearts. All Around, you have made the world a better place with The Gift of your beautiful voice and extraordinary music that is still Calling All Nations and continues to touch the lives of millions. You will Stay Forever Young and your legacy will live on forever.

I just adored Michael's talent, style and humility. I dearly miss him and all these years had no idea he did a solo work. I will see about getting it. He was a beautiful person with a wonderful family and friends and that won't ever change.

You were taken too soon and how you are missed. I have loved your music from the early years and still enjoy it so much now. Never Tear Us Apart is me and my husbands song - it never fails to bring a tear to my eye for so many reasons. I lost my dad this year to cancer and so I know what your loved ones must have gone through - it is so hard to accept that someone has gone from this world. You made this world a better place and brought so much pleasure to so many people - I was so lucky as I saw you perform live the year before you died - you were amazing Michael - a night that I will never forget. I want to wish you only peace and rest now but I just wanted to thank you for your ability to rock my world - you always will. God bless XXX

My sister and I loved Michael so much. His music, grace, and unique performance style were so beautiful. Michael was such an original. It is so hard to believe he has been gone 10 years already. As fans, we feel such a loss. We cannot imagine the pain his family feels. To Michael's family: Please know your beautiful and precious son and brother gave us so much joy over the years. Michael's music is as fresh today as it was in the '80s and '90s. He was such a gift to the world - thank you so much for sharing him with us.

i never had a single song change my life slide away did i was livin on the streets of melbourne whenever i could afford batteries id play it over an over on my walkman an didnt care who heard me singin it i got a few compliments an alot of strange looks but u gave me strength to move forward infact the whole cd did thanx man u changed my life for the better dude cant thank u enough many tears were shed but thanx to u im not dead that was six yrs ago im 37 now bro thanx for your words james ps im still tryin to find another copy of your solo albumn in my life your always alive live baby live
