I can't believe that 10 years have passed since the passing of Michael. I remember being in London and hearing the awful news from a friend who visiting our hotel. I remember being quite angry as I couldn't believe the news and it took some convincing.
This 10 year anniversary also coincides with Thanksgiving in the states. When I take a moment and think what I am thankful for I would have to say I am truly thankful for all the years that Michael was in this world, even though it was too short. I'm thankful for all the songs that he sang and the shows that he performed. INXS' music has always been there in my life, being a part of my own personal soundtrack. I'm grateful for all the amazing fans and friendships that have been made and all the shows we have been to together and the crazy and silly times.
I will be thinking of all of this on November 22nd.
