You truly cared about others, led a Wild Life with Good and Bad Times, and kept Searching for the One Thing of What Love Is. You are so much larger than life, and we love to Hear That Sound of your incredible voice, heart-felt lyrics, and unique songs that transcended traditional music.
Regrettably, with fame came the unrelenting thunder & Tiny Daggers of a media storm and personal strife that Cut Your Roses Down, and you’re the one Who Pays The Price. Very few realized you were Just A Man and how much you suffered inside. Tragically, you had Not Enough Time on Earth, as you felt you could not Put The Pieces Back Together of your shattered life and didn’t see the Possibilities other than to Kill The Pain and Slide Away. You prophetically sang in your song, Never Tear Us Apart: “I told you if we could fly, cause we all have wings, but some of us don’t know why”. We hope you were able to Make Your Peace and obtain Freedom Deep within you.
You greatly loved your Beautiful Girl, Tiger, as she was Everything to you. It’s unfortunate that you’re not here to share your life with her.
Michael, you are sadly missed and you will never Disappear in our hearts. All Around, you have made the world a better place with The Gift of your beautiful voice and extraordinary music that’s still Calling All Nations and continues to touch the lives of millions. You will Stay Forever Young and your legacy will live on forever.

I remember my grandmother let me pick some tapes (thus was in 1988. The magazines you got in the mail ) I liked the name INXS and after that I was obsessed. I even own dogs in space. What a legend. That smile always melted my heart. Happy heavenly birthday.

Thank you for sharing your self and your genius with us. I met Michael and the boys in 1988 in Dallas. He had a certain light in his eyes that not many people are blessed with. It matched his wit and charm! I will never forget how genuine he was ....and how funny! Happy birthday to a sweet soul. Love from Texas.

i watched the first episode of Never Tear Us Apart this weekend and it has brought back a flood of memories of my love of Michael and INXS. My heart still breaks that Michael is gone. When I hear a beat of their music, see a picture or video of his beautiful eyes and smile I feel an overwhelming sense of loss. It just doesn't seem possible so much time has passed. Thank you Michael for the gifts you have left us. While we never met you will always hold a special place in my heart.
