It is always a waste when youth/talen are lost, especially in the manner that Michael left us. The media plays up on the fact that he committed suicide and others have stated that he died during some auto-erotic session. The question is: Does it reallymatter HOW he died? No, is the answer. I was never a big fan of INXS but being a musicina myself (vocals) I could appreciate their music and his style. I hope this site helps you and comforts you. The fans will appreciate it.

God Bless all of you and his family,

Ben Milano

“...and they will never ever tear us apart!”

I still feel very sad about Michael's death. I remember how shocked I was when a good friend of mine told me yout it. I just couldn't believe it first and then I thought: Another beautiful soul has gone...again. Why do always the best have to go? This way! Well, I hope we'll meet again someday like he told us in his song...

Mr Kell Hutchence

Thank you so much for taking the time to put together this wonderful website in memory of Michael. I am probably not the NO.1 fan just a dedicated one who grew up with INXS and it is a relief to be able to read/view something believeable instead of the media drivel which seems to have surrounded this tragedy.

I will never forget the sadness I felt on Nov 27 1997; I thought that the death of Princess Diana was sad enough but then I realised that there will always be kind people like her who will replace her but the talent and energy given to us by Michaael will never be replaced and it is the thought of this that makes me truly sad even now.

I was only able to see INXS live on one occasion during their “Live Baby Live” tour and even now when I listen to that CD I get the same buzz that I got at the concert. I have seen several artists/bands in concert but none have given me the same after effects buzz!!

Once again thank you for sharing some of your memories with all his fans, one cannot imagine the pressure and privacy invasion you must have/still be undergoing. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

I thought this was a very beautiful and touching site, one that Michael would have loved...but how saddened he must feel to see his beloved Paula not even mentioned, and his 3 step daughter's ,who by his own admission he loved as his own...they are Tiger Lily's mother and sisters we are talking about...and they all loved and mourned Michael deeply....he was always so protective of Paula.....

Dear Mr.Hutchence,

I sit here, looking at the pictures of Michael and Tiger, with Michael playing on my stereo and I am filled with sadness. I never knew the person behind the image, never knew the loving father he obviously was or the loving son he was that is clearly in evidence here. I don't pretend to know what he might think of this disagreement that seems to exist between yourself and Paula, but I'm sure he would not want it to exist at all. If only for the sake of beautiful Tiger, heal this rift and together you can all celebrate the life or a truly great entertainer.

Thankyou.

You must be commended on an informative and loving site.

Such dedication to your son is heartwarming and wonderful. Michael will be greatly missed as a kind and gentle person. Evidence of his musical depth and talent will never be lost. In this, his memory shall forever remain. Our hearts go out to Tiger.

May god bless you and your family.

This memorial website is a true reflection of the Michael we all loved. He will be forever missed. Thankyou to the Hutchence Famiy for a great tribute to a great man.

Seen Inxs many years ago in Glasgow and was very impressed just by the pure energy Michael had.

God works in mysterious ways and perhaps had his reasons for taking this wonderful man from us.

One look in the eyes of Tiger tells us that Michael is here in spirit if not in body.

Rest in peace

A sad, sad tragedy. Even though I never had the opportunity to meet him or attend an INXS show it feels like the loss of a personal friend because I heard the music and viewed the media pictures of him daily. I have always considered the “KICK” album to be one of the greatest albums of the entire decade of the 80's. For that alone Michael, the band, and all of their families should be proud. But when looking at the big picture, “KICK” was just a small part of a truly talented, gifted life and career.

Hi to all the Hutchence family.

I would like to offer my condolences to you all, particulary to Tiger Lilly. I was backbacking in OZ and living in Rose Bay in Sydney the year Michael died. He was only up the road in Double Bay.

I was gutted when I heard the news as I have always been a huge INXS fan and I thought Michael was drop dead gorgeous. No one can deny him of that.

I went to the funeral a few days later and stood outside the church. I cried my own tears as I watched his coffin being lifted in and looked on as Kell and family, Kylie minogue, Helena Christiansen and of course Paula Yates walked into the church. No matter what has happened, I do ask you to open your hearts to Paula. She loved that man with all her heart. She is the mother of his beautiful daughter and she is still two years on very heart-broken. You only have to look into her eyes to see that. Kell, my message to you is one of strength and courage. I would like to offer you my appreciation for all the work you are doing by trying to keep the memory of Michael alive and believe me you do not have to try. He will never be forgotten. Even as far away as Ireland.

God bless,
Take care,

Love and peace to all of you

I was so saddened by the death of Michael. As a disc Jockey at an Albany radio station I have enjoyed his music for years. My husband committed suiside in 1992. I know the depth of the pain of losing a loved one so dear regardless of how they go, your heart is forever broken. Love and faith to the family. He really is where we will all be. You will be together again. This site is a beautiful tribute to a special life. God Bless.

Michael and INXS had the most original and coolest music going.

Just when I thought, what or what could they do next, they amazed me and made me luv music. Michael had so much charisma and the rest of the band blended so well with him.

I wish I knew him personaly and I wish I hung out with him.

God Bless u MH and long live INXS.

It's an honour, that I can sign this guestbook. I wasn't a very big fan of Michael, but he had a very good voice and I like the songs a lot.

I hope there will be a lot more people, who want to sign this guestbook.

And for Michael: Rest in Peace!

Love, Debbie.

Wow. What a lovely tribute to an an extremely talented man who was left us far too soon. Michael, Inxs, and their music was part of growing up in the 80's. Thank you Kell, for sharing Michael's life and spirit with us here!

Be Well....

He was/is larger than life! We have all been touched. Some of us even broken for a while! Thank goodness we have access to so many more ways in these days of technology to remember him by, like this wonderful site. And thank goodness he left us his words and his voice!

We remember him every day in countless ways. Thank you, love, peace and blessing to you, Michael! You are still with us. And thanks also to you, Mr Hutchence and family.
