What a wonderful site. I really enjoyed reading everyones stories and memories of Michael. I met him in 1993 after a show. He was just as sweet and charming as I'd always hoped he would be. As so many have said, within seconds I felt as if we'd been friends forever. He gave us a gift and those of us who loved him will never forget.

Dear Kelland,

I would just like to say thank you for giving Michael's fans such a nice collection of memories. We all have his music to remember him by, but these personal memories add even more. The childhood pictures are the best! Thank you again.

What a wonderful site; what a terrible loss. No visitor to these pages can fail to be moved by the passion behind the tributes from those who were close to Michael. Like many others, I identify with Michael through his music. His music was my music. “Underneath the Colours” and “Shaboo Shoobah” my youth. I look around him and observe that his passing leaves an unfillable void - as a son, a brother, father, mate, friend, songwriter, performer.

Michael, I hope you are dancing on heaven's jetty. To the Hutchence family and those close to him, I offer my heartfelt sympathies and deepest condolences. We have all lost a piece of us.

A lovely site, but it does no credit to not mention Paula Yates, the mother of Tiger Lily. I hope the reason for this is not merely petty spite....sad.

What is there to say.
He was able to say it all.

Every day that goes by, I have you to thank for lots, it is just a shame I never got to say it. Thanks for the memories and some of the best days of my life.

INXS (and Michael most especially) changed my life forever. Each song helped me survive a little more throughout adolescence. Every concert was an inspiration.

My love and I would not have met 9 years ago had it not been for the X tour (was it that long ago?) thank you for all the memories, good feelings and inspirations.

Love me and I'll burn for you...

Michael,

You are sadly missed, although you are still with me through your music and memories of seeing INXS Live in concert. You were a great entertainer and your music was brilliant, a standard which other rock bands should look to match.

Rest in peace
Mark

What can I say about someone I only knew through their music? Well if the msuic spoke anything of the person then I would say fragile and delicate, explosive when need be, and truly amazing.

Peace, and God's Love,
P.A.T.

Nearly two years down the line and i still find it very hard to believe that Micheal is no longer with us, Doing what he does best in entertaining people with his music & charm. But to me every time i play an INXS record Michael is still with us.

I'll never forget the six or so times i saw Micheal on stage, and them memories will stay with me forever.

Rest in peace Michael

What a wonderful tribute to Michael. Don't know what to say to the family and INXS about your loss. Being away from Sydney for quite a while now, I always felt at home when I heard Michael sing... and seeing Michael and INXS live - WOW... will miss him dearly.

To every one who had something with Michael. Many songs which were written by Michael did something to me, they really fitted in my life. When I thought to myself let's go town for some INXS stuff there was almost something new. for example: a new edition/import of a (single) cd or video. God must have guided me! Michael I will NEVER forget you. You are in my heart. C U L8TER

Left me in tears; what a joy it must have been to call him your son.

His memory will live on forever - his voice is heard daily in our lives still

Take care always

This is the second time I have written here. Just yesterday I was looking at some INXS concert photos taken in 1987 in my home city of Edmonton and I wanted to share a story. It was the “Calling All Nations” tour and I was lucky enough to win backstage passes - me, being both thrilled and nervous like heck entered the dressing room and Michael greeted me so whole-heartedly! We played table tennis against Tim and another lucky back stage pass winner and of course Michael and I won! In 1991 I was at the sound check for “Picnic in the Park” in Sydney - and Michael came up to me and asked me if I wanted to play table tennis again and “Kick some butt!” To this day I still can't believe he remembered little 'ole me in Edmonton!

Thanks for the memories Michael! I miss you

It is always a waste when youth/talen are lost, especially in the manner that Michael left us. The media plays up on the fact that he committed suicide and others have stated that he died during some auto-erotic session. The question is: Does it reallymatter HOW he died? No, is the answer. I was never a big fan of INXS but being a musicina myself (vocals) I could appreciate their music and his style. I hope this site helps you and comforts you. The fans will appreciate it.

God Bless all of you and his family,

Ben Milano

“...and they will never ever tear us apart!”

I still feel very sad about Michael's death. I remember how shocked I was when a good friend of mine told me yout it. I just couldn't believe it first and then I thought: Another beautiful soul has gone...again. Why do always the best have to go? This way! Well, I hope we'll meet again someday like he told us in his song...
