I already left a message here a couple of months ago, but I wanted to come back since today is the 27th anniversary of your passing (it might be tomorrow by the time this is published, but as I'm writing this it's the morning of November 22nd).
I've found myself feeling particularly sad about you today. It pains me that you never got to see your daughter grow up, and that you left behind family and friends in general. I also think you were a profoundly talented person - a great performer in both vocal technique and stage presence, but also a talented lyricist with a genuine care for artistry and self-expression - with the bonus of being humble and soft-spoken for someone so famous and talented (so I've heard, anyway), and that this gift was taken from this world too soon.
I can say with certainty that you are still greatly missed. As I said in my original message back in September, I was born a few years after you passed away, and yet your music and your life story have both had a strong impact on my life. Your legacy is certainly felt in my life - I'm sure it's felt in many others too.

Michael, the 22nd is about to hit my side of the world. Although you’re thought of daily by your loyal fans + those who love you, there is always a heaviness in the air in November. We much prefer January 22nd! Thank you for your music and gifts you left us. This month alone, I’ve heard your songs in the most random of places, and not even common INXS songs. We thrive on these moments, Michael. They feel as if you sent your music at just the right moment. I hope to ask you one day, for confirmation. Until then, I’ll enjoy your music all the more with each passing day. I’ll love you forever. ⭐️

You and your band played in Canada, unfortunately I wasn’t blessed to see you perform live…always regretted that. Anyhow, I could never let this day go by without coming out here to say a few words. Michael Hutchence you are missed, not only by me, but by many millions around the world. My good friend Graeme Lang, we work (at a bar) and, he even took (for years voice lessons…to capture your style. He’s nailed it. We both are huge fans of yours. We talk about you and your band many, many, times . I’m on the door and Graeme pours the beverages ….when we hear your music playing through the speakers….sometimes our eyes lock or I can see my friend singing while serving the customer. He’s, not only good …he’s great at singing your songs. We will toast a wee bevy to you, Michael Hutchence…who is dearly missed from this planet 🌎. Our wish to you…. Be Happy.

You were one of greatest voices of a generation. Hard to believe that it has been 27 years since the world lost such an amazing talent.
