As a thoughtful and loving Christmas gift,my loving fiance Sally (I miss & love you lots “fuzz” and my little baby pumpkinbear...and baby Hannah!!) had picked up the latest anthology CD which I think chronicles the storied life and times of the band. The CD provides the packed energy I so look for when I listen to it...(Thanks my pumpkinbear again for the gift...love always and forever)

While growing up in the 1980's,INXS was without question,my favorite band to listen to and still my favorite band to this day. The music they made and produced sets the tone for what kind of a day I'll have...my deepest thoughts and prayers will and always be with Michael and all of his family and friends...his charm and grace, not only as a person himself, but the energenic way he presented himself on stage was appealing to myself and to the rest of his devoted fans out there...I speak on behalf of everyone out there who shares my thought...to conclude,as a follower of INXS,especially Michael,I myself could relate and understand the pressures of living life with no bounderies and direction. It's never easy, especially when you are well known.I wish Michael could have put an end to the way he was living towards the end of his life...nevertheless we all love and care for Micheal...forever!!

It is sad to lose a talent so sensitive. Sensitivity is probably the reason for such a loss...

And was the reason for much beauty as well in this life...

Michael is part of a story in a Sunday tabloid today about Kylie Minogue and it reminded me of what a sad loss his death has been. I'd just like to offer my sympathies and thoughts. I saw Tiger in Brighton once with Paula. It was a beautiful summer's day and Tiger was perched on the shoulders of one of Paula's pals as they strolled along - seemingly without a care. God bless. x

Dear all,

This site has been beautifully written and finished and i felt a true solemn atmosphere when reading through it. I myself had the priviledge of meeting michael when he came back to visit our secondary school in 1997. It is however quite odd that the school is not mentioned in the Life section of this site. I would be grateful if there could be more insight on his adolecent teenage life at King George V School, Kowloon.

The music is a gift I will cherish forever. So many times we become vulnerable in our lives. We have to remember the good that exists and let it pass.

Love you Michael

Thank you so much for this beautiful website. I have spend all afternoon reading every single item and it lifted me up.

I heard “Listen Like Thieves” on the radio this morning and I really broke down. So strange after 4 years, I hadn't expected it to be so violent anymore. Still, come to think of it, it was the worst birthday of my life, 22nd November 1997. This helped me today, and it probably will in the future.

Thank you again.

hello there. i have been coming to this site ever since i became a michael fan not too long ago. my sister bought the michael hutchence solo album in march of 2000 and i became very intrigued by it. i started listening to it and really identifying with this michael hutchence character. i was only 12 then, but i felt a really deep and unexplainable connection with him. in 7th grade, when presented with the opportunity to do a project on anything or anyone i wanted, i chose michael. i was criticized by some of my disapproving family and some fellow students as well, but i did it nevertheless. the research report ended up being 32 pages typed. it was the longest report anyone had ever written in the entire history of my school on that project, and that project has been an annual requirement of students for almost 10 years. the minimum is 3 pages. i just couldn't stop writing. i also designed an original yet factual magazine with michael hutchence interviews and articles. i made the interviews and articles my own, but i added that special michael touch to them 🙂 my project ended up winning an award. my english teacher was thrilled with the effort and passion i put into it. i got 194/200 possible points on that project.

since i discovered him, i have been collecting anything michael hutchence i can find. it is hard to have access to these sorts of things given that i live in such a boring and remote town, and also because i am only 14 years old and don't exactly have all the money in the world to be spending ons cuh merchandise.

i'm not exactly certain who manages this site but i know that kelland plays a part in it. i hope that if you are reading this now, kell, you know that michael still lives on, even in the younger generation. there is still appreciation for good music and beautiful people like your beloved son.

with much love and dedication, XXX erica nicole

Michael's talent did touch so many... his music and my memories of seeing him perform will be in my heart forever. “Never Tear Us Apart” was playing when I met my (now) husband and was “our song”...a beautiful song. We now have two beautiful daughters, close in age to Tiger. My heart goes out to her, having lost her father. After the tragic events of September 11th here in New York, our mayor spoke beautifully to children who lost parent(s) in the attacks and reminded them that their parent(s) would always live inside them...that they made that child and, therefore, a piece of them is always there. In the few pictures I have seen of Tiger, she has his magical “spark”. I hope it burns in her forever and keeps her going when times are tough. I am looking forward to visiting your beautiful country soon for the first time and I hope to visit the memorial...at the very least, I will say a prayer when I gaze over Sydney Harbour and “I will sing your song”, Michael.

Thanks for this wonderful tribute. I am only a very new INXS fan, but they have made me realise how much talent there is in our own backyard. I am an aspiring drummer, and they make me proud to be an Australian. Micheal's death was tragic, for people who knew him and music fans, but he lives on through the music which no one can take away from us. Thanks for the music boys...

Fue una de las partidas mas dolorosa de la musica, soy un buen almirador de INXS y me afecto emocionalmente su partida, pero creo que este es un pequeño y buen homenaje a Michael, lo extrañamos, pero sigue vivio en nuestros corazones. ONE, U2.

I have been an INXS fan for about fourteen years. I never had the opportunity to see them live until my husband surprised me with tickets to a show held in Boston in Septemer of 1997. I am so thankful that I had the chance to see the band and still recognize it as one of the greatest times that I have ever had!!!! I was deeply saddened by Michael's death but I am happy that he lives on in his music and in the wonderful memories so many people have of him. I wish his family (especially his little girl) all the best!!!!

INXS was the first concert I remember going to -- back in 1990, and it was amazing! Michael's awesome voice and beautiful spirit continue to live on everytime I hear an INXS song. God bless you all, and remember that this special angel will always be with us.
