“The Swing” was the first album (vinyl of course!)I ever bought (I still have the vinyl copy!) and is still to this day one of my favourite albums of all time. INXS played a major part in my teenage years (they are still my favourite band ever - i went to every concert they played in Adelaide) and nearly five years on, every time I play or hear an INXS song on the radio, i still get that sinking feeling. Michael will be sorely missed by me forever.

MICHAEL WAS A HUMAN. HE TRIED TO AND DID ACCOMPLISH MANY IMPOSSIBLE THINGS.
PEOPLE FORGET TO LET THOSE THEY ADMIRE
AND LOVE BE HUMAN. THEY EXPECT AND DEMAND MORE THAN THEY THEMSELVES WOULD
BE WILLING TO GIVE. EVERYONE HAS DAY TO DAY PRESSURES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
BUT IF ANYONE ADDS TO THESE, THEY ARE OFFENDED AT THE IDEA OF MAKING ANY MORE SACRIFICES. PERFORMERS DO THEIR
VERY BEST TO PLEASE EVERYONE BUT THEMSELVES. IN HIND SIGHT, I WONDER
HOW MANY WISH THEY COULD BE A LITTLE
“SELFISH” AND LEAD THE TYPE OF LIFE
THEY WANTED INSTEAD OF WHAT WAS “EXPECTED”. MICHAEL LOVED HIS FAMILY AND HIS FANS. HE WAS LOYAL. HE WAS CARING. HE GAVE UNCONDITIONALLY.
I AM GLAD HE GAVE US HIS GIFTS, BUT I
WONDER WHY HE HAD TO PAY SUCH A HIGH
PRICE.

Hi. I would like to express my deepest sympathy to Michaels family and friends, and I just wanted to add that there will never ever be another Michael. Im sorry. this site was greeat!

I consider myself so fortunate for having seen INXS perform several times with Michael. This past Saturday, June 8 in Konocti Harbor, California, I saw them perform for my first time without him. As thrilled and supportive as I am to see the band keep the music alive, my heart is still broken all these years later by his loss. It's not something I can explain, having such an empty void for a person I've never met, but the tears keep coming. Somehow, Michael meant so much to me and in losing him, I lost a little of myself. I'm so greatful for this site, to be able to come and feel that connection with the countless others who loved him as much as I did...

Still missing you terribly Michael,

I think this is a really nice site its easy to use and shows the good times of Michael's life. I really like this site.

I just heard “Never Tear us Apart” on the radio and for some reason plunked out Michaels name on the web. I was surprised to find such a touching and thoughtful site. In my teen/twenty something years I lived in Southern California and there I saw INXS seven times in concert. So much raw energy and talent, they put on an amazing show! I will never forget the concerts at Irvine Meadows. Michaels voice evokes so much happiness, so much joy. I still cannot believe that he is gone. Blessings to his family. Prayers for your loss...

Still, one of my most admired artists of my Gencation X. Didn't know too much about this guy, but realized that his family and friends seemed to be in the center of his heart. Although, as fans we should just enjoy such talents and thank a artist such as Michael, for coming out to share his talent with the rest of the world.................Peace

i was watching the news this morning and i hear that inxs r touring again thats great ta hear it must bring back so many memories for the band being in the same city's as they were when michael was alive .my mum knew michael when she was 18 and when she got told that michael had commited suicide she couldn't believe that michael would of done anything like that it made her sick in the guts if u ask me life can be really cruel .
i think this website is a georgous and michael will always be remebered.
