I had to go to work the Saturday that Michael died. I sat at my desk and had to talk with customers and cried all day in between calls. He was like a brother to me. I felt like I knew him. When I think of all the times I was depressed and how INXS music always helped me, it really hurts to remember that he is gone. I love him so much and the rest of the band. I saw INXS twice when I lived in NY- at the Jones Beach Theater and the Nassau Colisseum. There was nobody better. I still have the ticket stubs. I still cry for Michael and can't believe he is gone. Such a life, such a loss. I loved them when nobody in the States even knew who they were. Thank you, Kelland, for such a wonderful, beautiful website. It is a moving tribute to your son and has helped me a lot. I can't imagine your pain.

Tribute to Michael Hutchence

Your voice was divine and sounded magic like an angel's
So strong and powerful but so fragile sometimes
It was really beautiful and gave that special wonder to your songs
But suddenly, the light in your eyes died out and so did the stars in the sky
Why did you have to leave us so early
Without you, music is not so wonderful now
You were the greatest singer of all times and forever will be
I miss you so Michael

Never ever forgotten, I will always hold a special place in my heart for this wonderful inspiring individual.
I still cry now when I think he will never sing again.
He will shine on always in music and in my heart.

I'm so glad I came across this site - you have done a wonderful job of turning something that could have been tacky into a beautiful, moving tribute to Michael. I haven't played much of his music since he passed - it's still too upsetting for me (I suspect it always will be) - it brings back a multitude of great memories and then I remember that he is no longer with us. Such a talent, such a man, such a loss. R.I.P. xxxxx

I didn't know this site existed until today. I was searching for the name of a film that Michael had appeared in and couldn't remember, all I could remember was that it had “Dog” in the title! This website has answered that question and many more that I didn't know I had. I was a huge fan of Michael, he was my idol and I was lucky enough to see him perform with INXS in Portsmouth, England. I shall never forget that concert. He had a way of making you feel that he was just looking and singing to you - which obviously wasn't the case! The website that you have designed in his memory is, in my opinion, a fitting tribute to a very special person.

Loved his voice. One of the greatest voices of our time. Completely shocked when I found out. Saw them in 1988 on tour. That was my first concert ever. My best wishes to his parents and daughter. He is greatly missed.

I think this website is outstanding. I saw INXS here in Chicago on Tuesday night. I was very moved by the tribute they paid to Michael during the concert. Everyone misses him. My thoughts and prayers remain with his family and friends.

Thank you for such a loving site that you have shared with the world about your son. I have just finished reading “Just a Man” and felt for everyone concerned. I was always a fan of Michael's and INXS right from the earlier times of their career. I can't begin to imagine how you are feeling as I am only a true fan of Michaels and you were greatly blessed with his life. I hope that little sweet Tiger Lily can be close to you all soon, so that you can share your life with Michael to her. Thank you for giving us a true legend to Aussie music and not to mention the world. Your Michael has gone down in history, he will never be forgotten.

I've always loved listening to INXS for as long as I can remember, but I think what really drew me into this band was Michael. Michael presented such charisma, yet one could often see saddness peering out through his eyes and I think that allowed his fans to see how vulnerable he was, despite the glamour and fame. As I sit here looking over this site, it makes me cry because, he was taken away from us too soon.

This is the first time that I have seen such a beautiful page dedicated to Michael. He is my favorite singer and INXS is the best group of the world. In this moment, when INXS is on tour in South America I remember these beautiful years with Michael as the vocalist.

Live. Michael, live. Forerver

I really loved Micheal's voice, and actions in concerts. His daughter is beautiful, she is so lucky to have a father like Micheal. My son is going to grow up not knowing who his father was as well, and I think that is a very hard thing for a child to grow like that. Micheal was a very interesting young fellow. I would just like to thank you for the good effort you have made to make up this website, you did a very good job! I will miss Micheal forever, and he's here, in my heart.
