What a terrible loss. He was a tremendous artist and musician...

Michael had a talent that few of us can ever aspire to. I say “aspire to” as he worked on it and perfected both his writing and performances from '77 onwards through hard graft until inxs broke worldwide. Like all talented people, I'm sure he had his difficult moments and excesses but it will never diminish his achievements. I think of him alot for some reason. I was never a fanatic and wouldn't rate much of inxs' work before Listen Like Thieves but now, i find that both the misunderstood “Elegantly Wasted” and the career highlight “Welcome...” are always on my playlist. Hes an inspiration to me as I look at the giant poster of the solo album cover on the wall of my room. He had class. Maybe he was ment to leave us so soon.....achieve so much and then as does any pro performer...exit stage left! Long may his music live on. It still sounds so fresh. Thank you, Michael Hutchence, for living life to its fullest potential and for being a true winner in that life.

I truly love Michael with all my deepest affection of a friend. I loved him ever since I was nine years old well now I am twenty-three and I wish I could have gone to one of his concerts. He was truly a mystifying singer. I truly believe he is in heaven with our sweet Lord Jesus and I groan to see him one day up there too. To Michael the legend I will always remember you. God bless you and your family and friends. Take care rest in peace!

es una lastima que alguien tan grande como vos se halla ido de esa manera. fuiste el mejor cantante de los 80. el show que diste en bsas en 1994 fue impresionante. este sabado toca inxs en argentina, seguramente va a haber un gran vacio sin vos, pero ir es el mejor homenaje que se te puede hacer. a mas de uno se nos va a caer una lagrima cuando escuchemos never tears apart. alos que le guste inxs escribanme.

Hello my name is Desirae McCallum my aunty happens to be Karen Hutchinso,she was in a Defacto relationship with Kirk>I still remember the moment I met Micheal I was only 5 years of age he asked me if I enjoyed humprey (I was watching it at the time) from that moment on I thought he was the best person ever because out of allthe people in my Aunty's home at the time he was the only one to speak to me.After that first time I only met hime a dozen or so time again after that. Each time walking away with a huge school girl crush like every women did.I also remember the day Michael passed away. My aunty rang to tell the family the tragic news I was due to give birth anyday upon hearing the news i was so shocked my waters broke! I ended up giving birth to 8lb baby boy on 24th November 1997>i didnt name him Michael like I would have liked to out of respect.But everyday I look at him I do remember the special man who was kind to me all those years ago.

I've been a fan ofINXS since 1987 when i heard them in Ireland, because i was studing english.I grew up and becomes a man listening their songs and their music.I still don't know why Michael did that thing.when I heard the news I began to cry, and I still do when I think about it.

I just wanna say that INXS are everything for me.I have t-shirts, books, all records, posters, magazines and Know everything about them.I still listen their music and it seems that its just like the first time.I love INXS and INXS wouldn't be the same without Michael.He was the one who made them special, perfects and the best live band in the world.
