I wanted to leave my respects for Michael Hutchence’s 22 year since passing. I love INXS music, and saw them twice in Philly!
So grateful this Memorial website is still running, and by people that knew and loved Michael and continue to keep his memory alive, as do so many dedicated fans around the world. In less then a week the Premiere of Mystify - Michael Hutchence the documentary by Richard Lowenstein will be premiered at the Sydney Film Festival . I am so grateful that I can attend this event and finally see a film about Michael that is truthful and made with love by Richard and all Hutch's friends who haven't spoken out previously. Michael has and always will be a part of my of being. I only met him a couple of times in my youth, but he has always been a part of my life through his words and music with his band brothers. I thank Michael and will continue to keep his memory alive whenever possible.
A week never goes by without me listening to Live Baby Live, to me it is one of the best live concerts I have ever listened too. Michael is a lost treasure to the world. I dearly miss him and I didn't even know him, I am sure he's giving the angels a run for their money singing wise. May you always rest in peace Michael hopefully one day I will finally meet you.
Teenage me loved this man so much. Hearing about his head injury is very very sad. What could have been had people known about the science people are only learning now. Rest In Peace. Thank you for this opportunity to speak.
All these years and your music still stands...I hear it on the radio at work ...I play it in my car...it is timeless. Wish you were here Michael. Would have loved to hear what more you had in that amazing brain of yours.
I don't know if Michael really knew how many lives he touched..he is and always be loved and remembered for his fabulous voice ..we miss you Michael..
Michael had a gift of a beautiful voice and was an amazing talent. I played a bunch of INXS songs yesterday and it took me back in time. It was great music that still is great today. It’s hard to believe that he passed so long ago for time is so fleeting. I did not know Michael as a person but his music touched my life and brought me joy. Thank you.
Very much missed talent in the music world, listening to INXS right now and their music his vocals are just timeless. Favourite track Mystify.

I just heard a cover of 'Never Tear Us Apart' on Spotify which led me to listen to the whole Kick album...and then the whole X album. This eventually led me to this site. The volume and consistency of messages over 20 years on this guestbook is staggering. Clearly many people were affected by his music. Thanks for maintaining this site and allowing his fans to share their memories of Michael.
Love you forever !!!
As I type this I am listening to you Michael. You are not gone. You will never be forgotten. You live on through the lives of all the people you have touched with your music. We will never forget you. At least I will not!!! God Bless you always!!!
As someone who has lost a brother by suicide. Three years on the 15th May... I know and understand the pain and loss one feels. I think of my brother every day, I see the pain and loss my parents and sister, have gone through and still do. My brother listened to and was a fan of INXS, remember him wearing his INXS t-shirt. I understand your pain and think that this tribute to Michael is fantastic.
Congratulations to Michael's Dad & family for being open about everything.
We need to be open and talk about Mental Health and Suicide, and not make it not a dirty word, that no one can't discuss and be honest about their loss and troubles.

I was only 17 when you passed, but I remember it very well. My parents bought the Kick album on tape!! So funny to say since who has a tape player anymore? My mom loved "New Sensation", but my favorite was always "Mediate." Last month was sitting here at work and heard one of Inxs songs and then I remembered Michael Hutchence and had to refresh my memory on him and his journey. I have been listening to all Inxs songs and not just the Kick album and even watching youtube vidoes Michael. You were a gorgeous man, and I dont think I have ever even said that about any guy before. I still have a huge crush on Michael Hutchence!
I first heard of INXS thanks to MTV back in its heyday. Fell in love with Listen Like Thieves completely. Then I heard their earlier tunes. thanks to my best friend and realized that I knew some of them quite well too. Like "Don't Change" off of Shabooh Shoobah, ugh, so good. It was magical. I still have their records in my vinyl, cassette & CD collection.
Michael's voice and lyrics are so special. He was irreplaceable. His voice so rich and it could take your heart and mind on its own journey. I get so sad some days that he is no longer here. I would have loved to see what other creative endeavours he would've surely accomplished. I am ever so grateful that his and INXS' music lives on and that I was lucky to have experienced one concert (X-Factor Tour - Tues. 3/19/91- Met Center in St. Paul).
Sending much love to all the amazing members of INXS (Andy, Tim, Jon. Kirk, Garry), his dear family & friends, and to all my fellow music enthusiasts who will treasure his talent, his gift to all of us forever. And thank you Michael, rest peacefully. ❤🖤

I got my INXS tape..my 1st tape ever & totally learned every song word for word..They were my new best fave band. I lovedMichael hutchence..had a huge crush on him. I feel so sad what happened..I just don't understand. Wish he would've reached out more for help..what a terrible loss & imagine where our music would be if he were alive today & how different/better place would be with him in it. So sadly missed. R.I.P. Michael Hutchence.❤

The music is as fresh today as then. We lost a great talent. His style was so unique and a voice no one can imitate. A great performer. He is missed. Very sad his life was short and unfinished. God bless your family. Find comfort in n the memories you shared.
I always loved this band and just stumbled upon this tribute site. How wonderful this is here for everyone to share.
What Michael did for the music was incredible. His voice will never be forgotten, one of the best singers of his time. It's a shame he's not here anymore. Thank you for having existed and showing the world your voice.
