The world has lost a great talent. The music will still live on and his presence will live on in Tigerlilly.

Peace

Michael. Your talent, personality, and carisma will never be forgotten. As Simon Le Bon said back in 1997, Michael, You've got a lot to answer for. INXS is not INXS without you. It is just another band. RIP Michael.

I can understand the need to find a new lead singer, but Michael, such a charismatic character with such a distinctive personal style, is absolutely irreplacable

Michael was the defintive rockstar and I personally belive that his presence and charisma on the stage is something that a lot of lead singers are missing nowdays. INXS are and always will be the gratest band in the world. God bless you Michael Hutchence and Rest in Peace

Well, I was 12 years old when I heard the INXS in my life. In some wise this band was and will be my favourite band. Its music has been following my character for ages. I love the INXS. Unfortunately I never met really INXS and funs, so I was always alone. But I hear its music then I never been alone. I always want to take after Michael. He was my ideal, I know Michael was better place. This place is heaven.
Thanks Michael and INXS for everything. Forever INXS.
If sombody wants to correspond me, please do not hesitate me (my privat e-mail address: kovtomy@citromail.hu) because I would meet real INXS funs.

It was a sad day seven years ago when I recall hearing on the radio that Michael Hutchence was dead. I must admit to being a staunch fan of the band and had the opportunity to see them play in my home back in March of 1991. Of course it was a fantastic show, and that really cemented my love for the band and their music. I am glad to see that you guys never compromised your styles for the record companies or anyone and I still love laying back, getting up and moving to, or living to the timelessness of INXS. Cheers to you and your exquisite talents,

Mark

I learned about the existence of INXS when a class mate handed me an agenda in which fan club addresses were printed. I first could not pronounce the name INXS and even when i heard the name on the radio i did not think about it untill i saw it on a pop chart ( I need you tonight) as of that moment i was sold. Back then there was no Internet and CD player were rarely and expensive, so i purchased kick album on tape and walked with my small boembox from house to school and back. Anyway that is where i started to listen to INXS. It took me sometime to get over the micheal thing because clearly and truly he was and always will be the voice of this great Band.

Sincerely
Winston

Michael, you were only 2 weeks older than me, born in 1960, that marvellous year haha!! I always remember seeing you and the guys on Countdown back in the early 80's for the very first time-Molly Meldrum predicted big things and I was an instant fan, following the band from that moment on. Your stage presence and charisma will always live on for me, I will never forget you!!!
Dancing on the Jetty to Burn for You!!!

Cheers mate

I have to admit, I really didn't know much about this person and came across this tribute page rather “half-hazardly” (I was looking for the lyrics to a particular song and it happened to be sung by a group called INXS).

I'm so impressed with the wonderful memories shared, the kindness and gifts this wonderful talented person had.

This is a beautiful gift that will last through all time. May it be of comfort and peace to his daughter, and all of his family and friends.

God Bless,
Sara

Death is hardest
for those left behind
when it is the big brother
who was your angel on earth
harder still.
Thank you for your book brother
your open candour of your own decline, the insight of questions unanaswered?
Micheal Hutchence was a Superstar
living in a superstars world.
A wise man once told me that there no such thing as coincidence.
The Music industry is the Beast with seven heads. Sometimes a closed book is an organised crime and yes Micheals death was a crime, a crime against humanity.
Brother be the gentleman your father was , your brother was.
Music is Soul food and like Jesus
Micheal Hutchence fed the masses with a little more than there was to give.

Michael was, is, and always will be my life. His music is the only thing that I have heard that can make me weep with joy and sorrow. I will always love him

He was such a beautiful man with an incredibly touching voice. He lives on in all of us. The other members of INXS and all the people working with them have done a great job at keeping Michael's memory alive. Thank you for that. He is trully missed and for that he is a constant reminder that life should be enjoyed to the fullest, with moderation.
