Its a shame that a young rising star must leave us the fans to wonder why?

I grew up listening to INXS. I saw them in concert when I was 13 years old. In all honesty, that was my best time of my life. I was really upset to hear that Michael Hutchence had died, and today I still mourn his death. I will always be a dedicated fan.

You were an inspiration to all. You are now a heavenly angel watching over us. Through all the sadness and all our mourning tears, your love could “NEVER TEAR US APART”. Rest in peace.

It is with a sad heart that I view this site. I remember in 1989, when I first of INXS, my heart lept from my cheast at the vocals of Michael's voice. I was watching TV tonight, and flipped through the cable channels and noticed “concerts.” I turned to it, and there was INXS...only a 30 minute concert...but I had to watch...he was a remarkable singer, and of course, sexy...I miss him still...Merry Christmas to you all, and to Michael's family. And God Bless.

amazing band, wonderful music and a true idol - he will be missed forever -- but again, he is with us and every word he has sung, hangs on with me forever. I saw the abnd on their last tour, and at the end of the concert left happy, but sad...funny that he had sung Never Tear Us Apart, and then...

Michael, I'd do whatever God wants in order you to come back with us.
You are my idol and you always will be, forever and ever, and I'll love forever too

My birthday is 22Nov and I spent the 7th anniversary @ the Stamford Plaza with my girlfriend to commemorate the coincidence. The night before we left Oz, we had our last supper where he had his. The manager said we sat where he and Kell sat. I hope he wasn't blowin' smoke. I'd like to think his spirit hung with mine during our stay. Happy Holidays to all his family and friends. Love and Peace.

How tragic. You were trully gifted. We will never know your pain at that time, but I think of it as only as a moment of madness and that really you would want to be here today. You appeared to have it all.But I hope that you have now found the peace that you were so looking for.
Rest In Peace you deserve it for all that you have done for me at least. To your family may they also find peace in time.
May we one one day “pass each other on the stairs” until then farewell.

Sometimes I find myself thinking, you stupid bugger why did you have to go and do that......
It's just such a waste.....
But I realise whatever the reason for what happen that day in 1997, thank god we had the opportunity to hear so much amazing music from INXS.
I grew up listening to the band, your songs will always be with me......

I fondly recall first seeing INXS on Countdown performing 'Stay Young' - Michael was dancing in typical fashion, with his hair & arms dangling everywhere. I went to see INXS a few later in 1984 at the Palais theatre (Melb) with my brother, just as Original Sin was released. Looking back now, it was such a special time in my life, & INXS provided much of the soundtrack. I have enjoyed their music for a long time, and am still saddenned when I think of Michaels departure. I hope Michael knows how much he contibuted to this world, & just how much he is missed.

I saw INXS here i DK three times,93'- 97' and 2003 with Jon Stevens.INXS is one of the most greatest rockbands ever, and Michael Hutchence was and fantastic singer and entertainer, we miss him very much.

I first saw INXS in 1986 at the Illinois State Fair. I was 14 at the time and I was amazed at Michael's incredible energy just pouring out through the entire show. They hadn't quite become the huge act that they would turn into and I cherish the thought of having seen INXS in such a small and personel venue before they hit the big time in the U.S.
