My 8 year old daughter, Isabella, is probobly one one Inxs's newest fan. From her urging, I decided that I would like to pay homage to Michael, one of the best front man of all time. My good friend dragged me to my first Inxs concert. Then I got to see them 3 times on “American Bandstand” and at numerous concerts. They were awesome, especially Michael. On stage he was so sexy, even more so than Jim Morrison. He had such a stage presence...and off stage he was so kind and full of life. You could just tell how much he loved his life. It saddens me to think of Inxs without him. No one will ever be able to fill his shoe. I also know in my heart that he is looking down on us, and especially his band mates. I know that he would want them to continue on and also help them find someone out there who just might work. Good luck to all and God bless!

I must agree with Jack Logar of Clarksbury, West Virgina. Michael's solo album is SIMPLY FANTASTIC, not a bad cut anywhere. If you haven't heard this album as yet, I strongly suggest you put this one on your Christmas list...It's never too late.

I first heard of INXS December 1984, I was at a staff Christmas party when I heard the song “What You Need” this is a bad ass song. A few (sorry mates, I can't remember the exact year)years ago the band got together with Terence Trent D'Arby as the front man. Well we all know that when someone is gone that simply means, their gone, and no one can ever fill their shoes. I've got to give credit where it's due...Terence, you did great!
I'm pretty sure Michael was happy with your performance that night.

Theirs only one Michael Hutchence

Cheers mate

Dear Michael,
I loved your voice and I'm also a big fan of INXS. They were a great band, but when I heard that you died I was shocked. I wish you were still alive and still making music with INXS. Somtimes I wish that I had one wish ,and if I did I would wish for you to be on this planet having fun. What I am really trying to say is I would wish that you were still alive.

Michael Hutchence and INXS have provided the soundtrack for my life. I began following them when I heard their first American hit, “Original Sin,” in the early 80's. I enjoyed the peak of their fame with “Kick” and the “X” albums. And after their popularity in America began to wane in the early 90's and the throngs moved on to the next big thing, I continued to be a huge INXS fan all the way through 1997's “Elegantly Wasted.” I can honestly say that I've never heard a bad INXS song.

As soon as it was available
in the United States, I purchased Michael's solo album. It, too, is FANTASTIC! Not a bad cut on the entire album.

As far as I'm concerned, Michael Hutchence was a genius.

Life is much more than you've lived here. Is beyond any act we wish we haven't done, any kiss or hug we regret we hadn't give, any feeling we wish we had enjoyed, any word we wish we had said or anything we wish we had done before saying goodbye.

love you and will miss you until the day we'll see each other.

rest in peace, Michael.

it is so amazing to visit this site and before i discovered it quite some time ago, i thought i was the only one that felt as if i had known michael personally (I didn't however did see INXS perform live a 3 times and met him once). When michael left us it made such an impact on me - i was so upset crying myself to sleep every night and anyone that i told thought i was an absolute freak to be so emotional. through his songs i suppose i felt as if i was close to him. he was and is my idol and i'm sure the legacy of his songs will live on forever. Merry Christmas Michael. xox.

have bucket loads of good memories surrounding inxs over the last twenty years. Grew up in bands to which inxs were always a big influence. Have been fortunate to see them in glasgow and sydney and if their bus had not broken down in 1986 on their way to support queen this would have been a hat trick, anyway thank you for the memories michael !! keep on rockin inxs

Michael Hutchence, you are missed. I was very shock when I read of your passing November 1997. The world lost 2 great people Princess Diana, and the famous Michael Hutchence himself. I play your music all the time, I even have a special tattoo branded on my skin to remember you by. You will never be forgotten, {{{NEVER}}}

If I had the power, I would bring you back to continue what you do best, writing music. You are gone way too soon, and I just wanna say, I love ya mate.

Cynthia

PS... Love the site, I will continue to visit as long as it's around
