I really miss Michael Hutchence!!!! He was such a talented singer. My favourite song of his is “ BY MY SIDE ”!! I love that song. I'm playing it right now. His music will always be in my heart forever. I wish I had the chance to meet him. He was so successful. INXS will always be around in our lives for many more years to come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My dad played his INXS albums all the time as I grew up and really loved that I can relate to different times in my life to different INXS songs.
Life on every corner

Michael, you were my idol when i was growing up, i even had my haircut like yours once. You were such a talented human being and you are missed immensely.
Michael you are missed dearly. You were an inspiration to soo many. Most fans accept that your fellow band mebers and best friends lives have to carry on. So much good luck to them. They will NEVER EVER forget you, only help continue to keep your legacy alive. Bless you Michael. Rock on INXS guys!!
I may not have been born directly when they first came out, but a friend and mother have hooked me to them. INXS' music makes me laugh, smile, dance, flail, and I cry to think a man so talented and beautiful could go at such an early time. Nothing can compare to the music INXS brought to the 80s, they're my source of escape from today's pathetic attempt at music. Thank you Michael Hutchence for your words and silky voice to come into my life at such an early age and sucking me into the mass of fans. You were beautiful.
Gone but never forgotten. Your name lives on as I have called my son after you.
INXS is one of the best rock bands of the history and one of my favourite ones. Michael Hutchence had one of the best voices I have ever heard.
Best wishes...

Truly Missed,
Never Forgotten.
Never Forgotten.
Sincere and most belated condolences from one who admires the talent of a once in a lifetime troubadour, the calibre and quality of his music vastly superior to those presently in the charts.
May the Lord Jesus Bless and Keep Mr. Michael Hutchence and I look forward to meeting his acquaintance in the afterlife.

INXS quickly became my favorite band right around the time that Kick was released. INXS was the first concert I ever saw - I believe it was the summer of '88 at Poplar Creek near Chicago where I grew up. The music of INXS to me is timeless and every time I listen to INXS or any of Michael's solo projects like Max Q it takes me back to memories of great summers growing up (oddly enough I listen to everything except for Kick and X during the summer - and those two albums are my winter albums. Weird, huh?). Michael Hutchence was always the pop singer that I thought I would want to be like. To me his death was devastating, especially considering my childhood idle died on my birthday, 11/22. The lyrics written by Michael will last with me forever and I will always miss the lead man from my favorite band.
michael, u r always in my heart, mind & soul, u will live on in all of us 4ever. rest in peace my friend xxxx
Thank you x x
I became an INXS fan a long time ago but I do miss Michael and his contributions to INXS and the music world as w hole. He is and will be sorely missed by those that admired him and his music. I saw the story of Michael and INXS on VH1 and learned of the reasons for Michael tragic and complicated life and the explanation for his death. I wish he had considered the fact that not just his family and friends would miss him but so would his fans who adored him. We will always remember you.....
It still only seems like yesterday you were rocking the NEC Birmingham june 1997.The worlds a far poorer place without you HUTCH.
Greatly & sorely missed, but forever remembered.

I visit this site almost every day, and feel overwhelmed reading all the messages left by people all around the world. We all feel the same, it's a mixture of pain and happiness. Michael made us feel happy with his band, but he also made us cry, and still does, when he decided to take his life.
Thank you very much for all you have done for us, you are a true legend and you'll always be remembered.

For whatever reason I decided to visit this site today....I was remembering dancing on the feet of my Dad to the old stuff, getting Dogs in Space out on Beta, the Kick tour which came to town in 1988, those red leather pants.....(i was 12 and the sight of you in them is burned into my brain forever....) I replaced all my LP's with CD's, and they are still on high rotation, especially Listen Like Thieves. You are timeless and unforgettable....xx
Still listen....still amazed....
still makes me love music.
SUMMER XS is still the best concert I ever went to.
Thanks.....we miss you.

I haven't listened to much INXS in years because it made me so sad to think that Michael Hutchence was really gone. INXS has truely been a soundtrack to my life, they arrived on the scene when I was just old begin appreciating music, my sister played them for me. Then as I progressed through school and life, I can remember where I was in life with each album release. His voice is like honey and the style they brought to music is irreplaceable. I have been listening to alot of older INXS as of late and I'm floored by the talent and style it exudes. I can't believe he's gone. He was my first big crush! I can only wish love and good thoughts to his family and friends.
I'm realy not one to visit sites such as this one for Michael but lately I've been playing a lot of his and INXS's songs and it makes me truly miss this legend. He composed great lyrics and music that truly move one's person and mind. It's completely emotional for me and I remain a fan. I saw him in July '97 for the first and last time and I remember it like it was yesterday. The band was EXCELLENT. And I was a part of it and well within reach of Mr. Hutchence on a beautiful evening. He moved the audience then as he still moves us now. God continue to bless you, Michael.
you are .............unforgettable
