i was actually at the duran duran meet and greet in las vegas recently and roger taylor (drums)said, “you look like an INXS fan” (i was wearing all black)... i said, “yeah, i was a michael hutchence fan especially.” he said, “me too.”
later speaking to simon le bon (singer), he said he overheard me talking to roger about INXS and MH and that he missed him a lot also... he said they were good friends and had some good times together.
in the show, he dedicated a song to MH and the audience went crazy. the song was...
“Save A Prayer...”

I LOVE INXS.THEY ARE ONE OF THE GREATEST 80'S BANDS I HAVE EVER HEARD.IT IS SO SAD MIKE HAD TO COMMIT SUICIDE.HE LEFT BEHIND MOURNING FANS AND A FAMILY THAT LOVED HIM DEARLY.WITHOUT MIKE THE WORLD WIL NOT KNOW INXS'S TRUE FEELING.
First gig i ever went to was the 'get out of the house' pub tour back in 1997. 2000 people in a sweaty university hall. I'd never experienced anything like it then and have never done since. I had ringing in my ears for 3 days afterwards and a passion in my heart until this day. Yes the music is tight and electric, yes the songs are catchy and pacy, and yes Michael brought all of that togther in one ass-kicking display of energy and decadence. Then I was luck enough to see Michael in his last year as he played an open air gig in Cardiff. The hype and media focus was on Michael and Paula who stood in the wings. To me after having seen them live once and countless times on video; Paula presence only spurred him onto greatness even more.

My Dad took me and my brother to Summer XS. I was about 13 years old. It was the first live concert I'd been too. It was amazing, a day I'll never forget. I've enjoyed music, particularly live music ever since thanks to that concert. Michael had such presence.I'll always be s fan.
