temporarily in Athens, but lives in Boston
I am 26 years of age. I first heard INXS in '87 with Kick. I really liked their sound, but in 90', when I heard “Disappear,” that was it. I thought this was the best song EVER. INXS became my favorite band. Eventually, I got all their cds, and to my surprise, the older tunes were kind of better than the later ones, if that is at all possible. When I heard “The One Thing,” I thought I was on a drug.
IT IS THE BEST SONG EVER!
It is actually a little better than Disappear.
Listen, I don't want to seem like a punk, but Michael was INXS, and INXS was Michael. I commend the brothers and company for trying to rekindle a sound that was so suddenly and unecessarily lost, but it was lost. Let it be. I suggest focusing on the past now: Like releasing All studio recordings and footage. Whatever happens though, INXS ROCKS!

It's been seven years and I still don't believe it. It's odd to think of a new lead singer for the band but I am glad that INXS is getting back out there. I think Michael would be happy about that.

G-d bless his family, the boys and especially his daughter.

The band will go on as they are such outstandingly talented musicians - though the spirit and soul of Michael Hutchence can never be replaced. When I'm down I'll play The Definitive INXS and suddenly the world again becomes an exciting, enticing and energising place. He is without doubt one of life's true stars; so beautiful and so talented. I found INXS late (videos on a flight to Sydney!) - in fact after MH had died - which is so sad. I wish I had seen them live and experienced that 'energy' but I've got the DVD's and who knows what the future holds for INXS!

I will always think of INXS and Michael Hutchinson as one. He was a great musician. I had the opportunity to see him in one of his last concerts, during his Elegantly Wasted tour in Denver, CO. Hopefully INXS will live on. What a sad loss.

Michael was one of the most sexiest, charismatic front men to date. His voice could just take you to a different, beautiful, wonderful, peaceful place. His voice, soul and music was a great inspiration to a plethora of fans around the world. He could make you rock out and feel energized, and then perform a ballad and send you to Heaven.

He is missed dearly and will never be replaced.
