just wanted to say how much i miss his voice. i went to a U2 concert right after he passed and they honored him with a photo on the screen and by playing “Never Tear Us Apart” through their speakers at the end of the concert. my friend and i cried. That was Thanksgiving U2POP tour in Atlanta, GA, which is the same city i had the great fortune of seeing Michael & INXS in another venue. Thanks for the memories. The music of INXS and his voice moves me always after all these years, as it will forever... blld

no stories. no meetings. just cd after cd of music and michaels voice. inxs for me rank right with u2 and rem. they may go on but unfortunately will do so without the distinction of all original members or a brilliant 'original' voice. good luck with the rest of it guys, waiting for another inxs cd. rest in peace michael.

I still miss his unique voice, I love this band. My love and condolences to his parents from a parent. I find out eight years later (just now) that we share the same birthday......all my best

I have recently become and INXS fan because of their different style of music. But I also have become a fan of Michael. And how great of a person he was. I actually miss him, i was never able to see him perform live, because I am quite young to be an actual fan. I also think it is a great thing that you, Mrs. Hutchence, Mr. Ferrari, and Mr. Patterson, have done something spectacular with this site. Not only do fans now know how great of a muscian Michael was, but also we know an off-stage side of Michael. He lives on.

May Michael's memory live on forever. He is sorely missed and can never be replaced. A beautiful man and a great musician. Between Michael and Bon Australia has lost some of its most loved sons. May the boys move onward and upward and find someone who will do Michael's memory justice!

I met Micheal & the band in 1983 in Gainesville Florida while tapiong the INXS for a TV broadcast and he was full of life and totally dedicated to bringing his intellegence and intensity to the audiences. INXS is consitantly the best live show I've seen!
I've seen them 7 times with Micheal and once in NYC w/o him fronting and even though he's gone, his presence, engery and love will always be part of our lives along with his words which will influence for decades to come... RIP, we miss you!!!!

INXS was so great when I was growing up. The album KICK and other songs were terrific, and Michael as the front man dig a wonderful job. I was watching the TV show the other night, and everyone seemed to be having fun, with young singer doing cover songs.

Michael we all miss you and think you where an excellent musican, and rock star. Its a shame that you are gone...

I still remember the day Michael passed, I was so shocked. I felt I had heard the news wrong, hoped I had heard it wrong. Suffering from depression also I can understand a feeling of not wanting to go on anymore, I've tried to end my life before. Fortunately I didn't succeed. I really wish Michael was still here to share with the world his voice, charm, and life. But he lives on in our memories forever, I just am thankful for the time he had with us.

Blessings.

It was 1982 the first time I saw INXS I was 15, under age but managed to get in to the play room. I've been hooked ever since. My teen age childen even say to me what's that music your listening to they love it too. It's ageless it's classic it's rock n roll. You guys are one in a million. Michael is sadly sadly missed, but look what he gave us all. Sometimes I listen to his voice and it sends the most wonderful cold shiver through my entire body. His presance will be with us forever.
Bettina Bernstein, 03.08.2005

I've been a huge fan of INXS since I was 14...20 years running-the passion for their music, devotion to the band and appreciation for the talent is still as strong now as it was then.
When I learned of Michael's untimely death, a light went out in the world of music. He was one of the most interesting, sensual, talented and beautiful people ever to front a band. He was missed then and continues to be missed by life long fans like myself.
He can never be replaced. His light will always shine through his music and memories.
To the other band members, good luck to you all and I know Michael will always live on and sing forever in your hearts.

Michael will always be in my mind and heart when I hear INXS play. I remember seeing them play before they became a huge international success. Michael held my attention the whole night with his voice. No-one can replace you Michael, you are the one and only. Rest in Peace.
