Music has always been very important to me and Michael played a role in that. INXS was, and always will be, one of my all time favorite bands (very short list). Michael is one of a kind and can not be replaced. When I heard about what happened to him I felt a genuine sense of loss. We are all sorry to see him go. Thanks Michael for all you've given to music; see you again some day.
One of the best singers ever!!! I wish that INXS wouldn't go the way they are going, but we all know that he will always be voice and soul of the band. I mean look at the last solo work he had. One of the greatest works ever. The world may never really know what they lost the day he died.

Michael is irreplaceable. He was the ultimate, hot, sexy, charismatic, mesmerizing frontman. A TRUE ROCKSTAR, in every sense of the word. Plus, his haunting voice and true creative genius electrified us, with every note he sang, and every song he (co-)wrote. I miss him!

Recently, VH1 Classic Concert featured INXS which brought a lot of memories back. Man, I still think Michael was so handsome and he had a beautiful (now haunting) voice. I drove my husband crazy when I played “Don't Change” video over and over. Michael was always great on stage. I still can't believe that this beautiful man is dead. He is still missed. But I wish his daughter - Tiger Lilly - and the rest of his family all the best.

Michaels' beautiful voice will live on forever in his music. I am exposing my children to the powerful, emotional music he created and performed. My husband and I were married in 1995, and we danced to the song Shine Like It Does.

I have been a big fan of INXS for years and have enjoyed all of the music. I was saddened by the death of Michael Hutchence at the time. His voice/music will be a great asset in my musical collection for years to come. Michael, you will always be missed.
I have aways been a big fan. I now share with my children the story of when I won tickets to see INXS in Buffalo, NY around 1984-I think--the problem was I was 15 and I had to attend the concert with mu mom! During the show someone with the radio station where I won the tickets saw how I sang every word and was impressed! Lucky me I got backstage passes...for my mom and myself! I was mortified. I remember the band lined up to meet us. As I shookall their hands, I got to Michael and looked at him and began sobbing (as he was so beautiful!)He cupped my face in his hands and kissed me. For that moment the world stopped (and I forgot my mom was with me!) I will never , ever forget that moment. INXS' music lives on, and I pray that Michael Hutchence is at peace.
I am a INXS fan that came along in the later years. I have always loved the music, but never really got THAT into until after I graduated high school in 1998. Though I will never forget that day in 1997 when my close friend Chris came into the classroom with tears in his eyes and told me the news. I coudn't believe what he was telling me. I knew that music had lost one of it's most talented artists.
It was after that, that I took the time that I should have before, and listened closer to the music........for the first time I heard the music and I have been a HUGE fan ever since.....I just wish that I would've taken the time and “heard” the music many years earlier and had the pleasure of seeing a live show. Either way, Michael will always live on in my heart and ALWAYS in the music.

i have seen so many bands in my time from run dmc to violent femmes, hoodoo gurus to public enemy, but i still rate the inxs show i saw at the super top in auckland in 1987 as the best live show i have ever seen. total entertainment. michael is missed so much around the world but its the whole band that i wish i could see live again.boys i hope you find what your looking for. you are all amazing artists. i hope to see you playing again in nz.. peace.
I have always had a spot in my heart for INXS. Michael's voice and his passion in the lyrics are what makes this band one of my all time favorites. When you have a band who's music touches you, when it leaves an impression in your heart and in your life, when you can actually hear more than one melody when you really listen to the songs, this is what music is about. When a song can send chills up and down your spine and raise the hair on your arms, This is one of those bands that really touch your soul.

michael hutchence was such a great person who cared so much about people and his family it is such a tradgedy that he took his own life not realising that he would leave behind his daughter tiger lili and his wife but now he is in heaven with his wife looking down on there little girl tiger love Ashleigh xxxx
