I have been a fan of INXS since about 1985 and have loved them ever since. I can still remember where I was and what I was doing when I first heard a lot of their songs on the radio. I also remember where I was and what I was doing when I heard about Michael's passing. With the things that are going on right now I am reminded of how much I actually miss you. In my heart of hearts I know that there is noone on this planet that could take your place in the hearts of your fans.

Love & peace,
Val

Here Iam 52 years old and I'm just discovering Inxs, well sort of,I remembering hearing their music in the eighties. Recently my husband whose believes only in live concerts bought the “Live Baby Live” dvd and it was if my passion for music came alive again,I began researching and reading everything I could about Michael Hutchence and his life, he truly sounds like a beautiful human being. His love of his family, friends and fans. I only wish I could have attended one of his concerts when he was alive.

I can remember when I was younger, my mom putting on her INXS tape and turning up the volume while she did housework...I have been a fan ever since! (Thanks Mom!!) I have bought every album and have grown up rocking to INXS's music. I have my favorite songs of course, but I think their music is so great because there is always a song that seems to fit my mood, whether I am feeling sad and down, or if I wanna' rock out and dance around my room!
My fav. concert memory is going to the “X” tour show in Edmonton...no one put on a show like Michael Hutchence!

My INXS and Michael Hutchence cd's will always be a vital part of my music collection!

I have been a HUGE INXS fan from the early 80's.Listen Like Thieves is my favorite song. The memories that I hold dear to my heart on the show they did in Seattle on the Kick tour.

I just wanted to say that I have been remembering a lot about INXS and what they meant to me when I was growing up. I didn't realize it until recently, and there is no one that could possibly replace Michael.

I'm a very avid Depeche Mode fan, Michael Hutchence passed right around the time Dave Gahan had overdosed, and I was mortified by the fact that 2 front men from 2 of my all time favorite groups were almost taken from this world. I wish Michael was still around, because he was one of the BEST front men ever in music, and I miss him more and more as I see what's been happening with the band lately. Everyone has to move on, but I wish that Michael, WITH INXS, would have been able to participate in the resurgence of a lot of the 80's bands enjoying their “comebacks” in the last few years like U2, Duran Duran, The Cure, and Depeche Mode...who, in my opionion, are among the top from that era who all still have their original members.

I saw INXS during their “Kick” tour and I was only 18. My sister (who was 15 at the time)and I still count the paper ripping by Michael during “Mediate” as one of the sexiest onstage perfomances we had ever witnessed. To clarify, Michael brought up a piece of paper, I guess as a guide for the words for “Mediate”, then proceeded to rip the paper slowly and deliberately, while still chanting the words to “Mediate”.

Thanks Michael, and rest in peace.

INXS is one of my favorite bands of all time. When Michaelpassed away, it just seemed like why would he do that to himself. He is the most talented and compassionate singer along with the band I called him once at the Mark Hotel,NY after they played at Irving Plaza, I got through and told him about I loved his voice and music and the show was great. I miss him perfoming and waitng to see when INXS was playing next. My favorite song is This Time.I hope you are at peace and singing along with your band. Love Margie

I turned 37 on the 21st of January.
I just found out that Michael's birhtday was the 22nd. How cool!
One of the best times in my life was going to the ADAM ANT concert in Toledo, Ohio. INXS was the opeining band and at that time I had never heard of them. I think I was maybe 10 or 11. I feel “in love” with Michael and the band!
Adam Ant was out and INXS was in!
I'm so glad the band is back together. thank you for opportunity
to tell you so. good luck and love.

I AM 18 YEARS OLD AND OBVIOUSLY TO YOUNG FOR INXS AND MICHAEL BUT IVE HEARD INXS AND I LOVE THEIR MUSIC. IVE READ ALOT ABOUT MICHAEL AND FEEL THAT THIS WAS A GREAT TRAGEDY MY HEART GOES OUT TO HIS FAMILY AND HIS THEN GIRLFRIEND WHOS FATE TRULY BREAKS MY HEART. I ONLY PRAY THAT TIGER LILY AND THE THE REST OF THE GIRLS CAN ONE DAY REALIZE THAT MICHAEL AND THEIR MOTHER MEANT NO HARM AND ONLY WANTED TO BE AT PEACE.AS FOR MICHAELS CHILD I HOPE SHE UNDERSTANDS THAT HER MOTHER FOR LOVE COULD NOT LIVE THROUGH THE PAIN HIS DEATH BROUGHT.

I am a born and bred Sydney girl, my high school days are full of INXS memories. This band was 'Hot' and I remember thinking how proud I was that an Aussie band in my generation, is making a huge impact on the rest of the world.

And still are 🙂

I was absoluely devasted when the news was released about the passing of one of the greatest singer/songwriter/performers of our time is no longer here with us, physically. But I am sure he is spiritually.

Michael,
Rest in Peace

Saw INXS in San Francisco '97. 10 years after I first saw them (kick Tour with PIL). Great concert! Have ALL their albums! Michael's solo album was released on my birthday, went to Tower on Sunset & bought it. He will truly be missed by all. My sympathies to his family, the band & their fans. ~ K

I fell in love with Michael, Tim, Garry, Kirk, Andrew and Jon the first time I saw them perform with Adam Ant in San Francisco back in 1982-3. I was blessed with being able to see them again in England in 1986, where I was able to give them a little pillow that I had cross-stitched. Seeing Michael up that close, I was right in the front row, was amazing. He had so much energy and was so awesome to watch. I met Kirk and Garry outside after they rehearsed and got a picture with each of them. I'll have to scan them and send them in for you to view. I miss Michaels beautiful voice and not a soul can replace him on stage..... Not a soul....
