Absolutly a force in my life from the first note I heard to the moment I discovered his passing. A band, a voice and a presence that only comes with the greats that also seems inherently brief. I have too many fond memories to leave but I can say that none of them would exist without the help of INXS and Michael. Thank You from right here. Peace to all and prayers to those who are in need!

I had the pleasure to see INXS in their infancy in the early 80's in some pub that I think has been pulled down now! With bands like The Flowers(later calling themselves Icehouse) Midnight Oil, Dragon(RIP Marc Hunter), Mi-Sex(RIP Steve Gilpin) and who can forget Mental as Anything! Sydney ROCKED back then! Upon watching “Live Baby Live” a flood of memories came rushing in like a tidal wave. Chills and awe once again watching and listening to a band and a man who will forever remain one of the best rock and roll bands of all times. Michael Hutchence had a talent that only few achieve. His voice makes anyone stop to listen and want to sing along. He will be forever missed, but will always remain in our hearts and souls. Thank you Michael for giving us your music.

I recently viewed the “Live Baby Live” DVD of the band. It was an amazing concert (I wish I had been there). It looked as though all Band members and the Audience were having a great time.
Michael was a very talented singer and musician!! He had a lot of Energy and Great Stage Presence.

1996-97 were dark and difficult times for many musicians as they were for me as well. The work Michael shared with us will be a historical reference for everyone who shares a fire for our profession, And this will continue for as long as we have the ability to remember, pass on, and preserve our medium. I unfortunately still remember what I was doing when I heard the news. There is still a hole in my life knowing that there will be nothing new, ever, from Michael. He is sorely missed as I am playing Kick in my car's CD right now. It seemed like he was on the verge of taking over in more than one medium. It was as if he was about to enter a new phase in his life and bring other facets of his talents to the world in new forms. His acting was growing, his singing was always exceptional and his sheer presence always dominated wherever he was. I miss him and the potential that was taken away. I am sorry for the loss of his family and friends and hopefully they get a small bit of peace in their lives knowing he has touched so many others around the world. Take care...
