I just want to say that michael was a very great mmusician. I loved him in the 80's and I have all of his albums. He is greatly missed.
I grew up with INXS and have been to a few concerts which were all incredible! Thank you INXS for bringing the band back to life.

I just wanted to say that in 1982-83 I was 12 yrs old and picked up my 1st inxs record...yes record not CD :). I was immediately hooked and it became a part of who I was. I remember being in my room listening to “Dont Change” over and over. Since then I have been playing guitar for over 20 years and give lessons. I know that my deep appreciation for music was partly due to Michaels great voice and stage presence. Music is a wonderful way to escape from the daily grind and I still listen to all my favorite INXS songs on a regular basis. God Bless you Michael and the boys for bringing such inspiration to our lives.

Michael was and still is one of the most gifted and amazing singers ever. Hearing his voice now always gives me chills. My birthday is always bittersweet, for that was the day he eternally became an angel.

Michael was such an influential part of my youth and teenage years, I was in high school when Kick was released and I remember that when I heard his lyrics and felt the passion and conviction in his voice, I no longer felt alone, but finally understood...by someone, by some unknowable force that moved in his music. His was art and life personified. Thank you Michael, for leaving such a lasting imprint on a lonley girl.

Michael and I shared the exact same birthday, 1/22/60. Maybe thats why I felt so in tune with his music and that of INXS. The world was short-changed by his loss.
Michael was an amazing charecter. His music is truly lifting. At any stage i feel down i put an inxs Album and it lifts my spirits straight away.

It also seemed that Michael did'nt waste one minute of it. He will be deeply missed by myself and Millions of other people around the world. I still listen Michael's solo Album which is marvellous. I definitly still enjoy listening to all of the inxs music, it is not possible to get tired of listening to it. At least we can say that Michael has found his resting spot. I grew up listening to INXS and having a complete and total crush on Michael. My last memory of him was when the band performed on VH1 that fateful year. I will remember it for two reasons: one) it was the last time that I would see a “live” performance by such a brilliant and talented vocalist and two) my husband actually proposed to me while we were watching it. While it wasn't a big proposal...it is a memory I will always treasure and Michael will forever be entwined with that memory. Rest in peace Michael, you are sorely missed. xxx
