Well, it is 11:44 pm Jan 22 here in Vancouver and I have just spent the better part of my day listening to Michael sing and believe me, it was the best part of my day. I was hesitant to sign the guestbook, since I really feel there are much more eloquent people out there and really after all what can be said other than thank you for sharing Michael with us all. My condolences to the Hutchence family and friends. Remember that our loved ones never leave us, they live on in our hearts and minds, indelibly etched into our psyche and souls. Michael is gone but never forgotten, he is forever in our top ten.
since i first heard just keep walking, the music of INXS has had a huge influence in my life. i was so proud to watch “our boys” climb the ladder of success as the music continued to grow and get better, and i despaired as i watched michael from afar crash & burn. this anniversary brings me back to a dark, dark day for me in 1997. i was deeply distressed at michael's passing & the way it played out in the media. i decided to also crash & burn but somehow i survived & today i love life. i love watching INXS continue to grow because i believe michael would have approved whole-heartedly.

I am greatful that INXS has moved on, yet clearly will never forget their friend and colleague we all were and are so fond of. I have recently started playing the former INXS and Michael's music again, and it is a beautiful release for me - I had not played them since Michael's death out of respect. I now realize how much I missed those songs, and how many wonderful memories I have. I am greatful that G-d put Michael Hutchence on this earth and let him contribute so much to our world. He will never be forgotten.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Michael was an incredibly gifted singer, performer and poet. I will forever be grateful for the music and legacy he left us, and will miss him always. Love you Michael. R.I.P.

Michael Hutchence was an amazing talent who will never be forgotten. His legacy lives on everyday through his music. I would like to thank Michael and INXS for providing the soundtrack to my life growing up in the 1980's. My thoughts are with Michael's family, friends and bandmates on this sad anniversary.

Michael, I had my yearly 11/22 tribute in your honor tonight. I'm amazed we've gone 8 years in this world without you. As I watched your concert performances tonight, I ended up where I always do - crying and feeling robbed of such a beautiful talent. Powerful yet gentle voice, graceful on stage, slithering, mesmerizing to watch. There will never be another MKH. The hole in my heart remains. You are loved and never forgotten.

I never got to see him perform onstage and was so shocked and disappointed. But what a truly gifted man with such an ethereal quality. Rest in peace, Michael. You're truly one-of-a-kind!

The man named Michael Hutchence is a big loss to the music industry. He has one of the greatest voices in the business. He will always be remembered as the orgiinal singer for INXS and will never be forgotten. Michael will always be remembered as having one of the grestest voices in the music industry and being one of the charasmatic people. You will never be forgotten!!
