I was only 12 yrs. old when Michael died. I never got to see him in concert; however, I still feel so connected to a man I never met nor even saw perform while he was alive.
Whenever I'm feeling sad, lonely, happy, angry, excited, or whatever, I listen to INXS or Michael's solo album and it fulfills me. I never get tired of hearing his music. His lyrics/music continues to motivate and captivate me.
As I write this I'm listening to Michael's solo album and I light a candle in his memory knowing that Michael lives on through his music. Although it is a great tragedy to lose such a gifted man, we will always have his music, videos, and pictures to remember him by.
To the best frontman (really the best singer/performer/and lyricists) who ever lived, we miss you.

Wow do I miss Michael! I attended the China Club in NYC on the eve of the anniversary of his death. Let me tell you HE WAS THERE IN SPIRIT! What an amazing night!

First of all, I wanted to say thank you to Mario and everyone else involved in this site for helping to keep Michaels beautiful memory alive. 3 You all do a very lovely job & I just wanted you to know this fan appreciates it.

Yesterday I was going to come by and leave some love, but the past few years I have been trying not to keep this day. I am of the mindset that it would be much better to keep Michael's birthday in my heart than this somber occasion. So yesterday I didnt come by, but you know what? Apparently it didnt make a difference.. because my thoughts kept wandering back to Michael anyway. So here I am today, (despite my best efforts to “reclaim” the day) & I will stand and mourn with the rest of you. I miss your voice Michael, and I miss your presence in this world. Blessed are the angels ~ because you are there with them.
You shared yourself so much with all of your fans, Michael.. that I very much feel the loss of you.

Michael was Inxs. I do not know if I will ever except or like the new Inxs. We will see. I had a friend that had the same accident as he did.....She has just started getting back her sense of smell and taste even though it took about 15 yrs. I wonder if Michael waited around long enough if a miracle might have prevented him from leaving us so soon. He will always be missed.
I will never forget the day when I learned Michael had died. He was so alive, a huge talent. I almost didn't watch RockStar Inxs, but ended up rationalizing it was a way in which I could pay tribute to Michael and remain a loyal fan to Inxs. The show kicked a**!!!! I still miss watching it! I cried for the last 20 minutes of the last show, thinking maybe Michael was there watching it all play out and pleased with the outcome!

Michael's voice had a sensual quality about it. There were these certain notes and whispers that could penetrate your very sole. Although I still support the band INXS as a fan, there will be only one Michael Hutchence whose haunting voice will live on forever.
