Michael, you truely were an inspiration to me. Your music lives on and will continue to exist as a timeless record of the talent you were. You were more than a rock star. You were a true gent and a kind soul. Miss you
Oh Michael, I can't believe it's been 9 years since you've left us. You touched my life in ways you would never know, as I was only one of your many fans who loved you. Your loss is still a pain I feel as sharply as the day it happened. I can only take comfort in the fact that I know you are now in a better place where your pain is gone.
I was one of the luckiest men alive to have seen Michael and the guys back in 1983 at the US Festival in San Bernardino, California. I was 14 years old at the time and was drawn to the charisma of the man known as Michael Hutchence. I felt the presence of something much larger than life. There were over 200,000 people there and I felt like he was taling to me. Through the years I remained an avid fan and saw him several more times. I was deeple saddened at the news of his passing but will always remember the young man who walked on the stage in a white shirt and white pants back in 1983 who brought the crowd to it's feet. My love for his words and music will never end as will my respect for a great man. Joel Acevedo

I know that I like many other fans wish there was a different ending to Michael's life, but we rejoice that our lives were touched to have known him; even if it was only through his touching lyrics and evervescent personality that reached out to us through our televisions and radios. The world will always be a sadder place for not having Michael, but our lives were so much richer for the journey we enjoyed as fans while he was here. Love and Peace.
