I wanted to express what Michael means to me as a person and as an artist, but I'm afraid I can't. I try to find the right words but they all seem to be empty.
His music takes me back to the 90's, to my teenage years. It was not the happiest period of my life but his voice and his lyrics gave me hopes and dreams when I needed the most.

I know it's a little late to say something but I loved a lot of Michael's music. I find myself very saddened and sobered by his untimely passing as I am sure many others do as well. I wish there was something I could do to console and help with the hurt that the family and fans must feel. But alas, I am only human as well with my own shortcomings and fears. But I have found strength elsewhere that comes from outside myself and that helps cope and carry on with life, and that brings hope for a future; even after death. I pray that you all will find the same if you haven't already and I wish you all (fans and family alike), the very best. May God bless you, one and all.

I was devestated when michael died, I saw INXS play in Darwin in the late 80's and they were pure magic. Michael was at the top of his game and it was the best concert I have ever seen to date.
It is such a loss to the music community. Very hard to believe its neraly 10 years since his demise. long live your music Michael we will never forget you!!!

I never really new much about Michael Hutchence. I only found out about him because my father loves his song 'Way of the world' as do I. i've read so much about Michael and whenever I read something about how happy he was or his daughter i have to fight the tears in my eyes. i just can't believe he comittied suicide there has to be some other explantion. Michael will never be forgotten, never.

Today smth special happened..smth that made me think about you and it all happened because of you! I thank God for having brought you to this world!! You were and will always be trully magical!
God bless his soul! A group of friends and I were invited backstage by Kirk at a concert held in Dayton, Ohio and it was truly an awesome experience for all of us. It was a joy just to sit and talk with the group, but especially to meet Michael. He was gracious and considerate, brash and discerning, gentle and kind. We have been fans since the early 80's and this band has been in our hearts ever since... Michael, you're the secret I desire... love and peace
Even though years have passed I still think of Michael often. I was a INXS tour follower in the eighties...one of the best times of my life. Twenty years later I tell me son about the one and only time I met Michael. He was a gentle man off the stage which surprised me...yet very approachable. My father had always told me that if someone touches your soul you should tell them. I told Michael that over 20 years ago and I wanted his family to know that he truly did. All of my prayers to his family and peace to his soul.
I've just discovered this site and wish to say a posthumous Thank You to an incredible front man and singer. It was a sad day when he was taken, but I am still in amazement all this time later of his vocals. Cheers, with best wishes to his daugther and family.

I think that INXS is the best band ever Michael was and always will be the greatest vocalist to ever put his thoughts to music, JD Fortune is orriginally from the town I live in and although he is a good vocalist he can't replace the immortal Michael Kelland Hutchence, thank you so much for allowing me to pay my respect.

I was fortunate to make an HP Sales reward club event in Mexico, and they hired INXS for a private party on March 7, 2007. The band was great. I am in my 50's, and I loved this band. As the performance went on, I felt that something was missing, it was Michael Kelland Hutchence. The person who sang lead, I can't remember his name, was pretty good for an American Idol walk on. But, Michael was the heart and sole of the band. I truly miss this guy, and I think of all the great song that could have been after his death. I guess we can only listen to the great, great songs he sang, and wish he was still with us.
