I just watched an old INXS video on TV and I had forgotten just how talented and gorgeous Michael was--his physical body may be gone, but he'll live forever through his music....
He was a very special man - we will celebrate his music when we see INXS in Dublin in June. We travelled to see them in Glasgow in Nov 2006, Michael can and will never be replaced and I will never look at anyone sing 'never tear us apart, that was Michael to me and the memory of him singing that in the Point depot in Dublin 1990 will be my most treasured memory.

I was watching a live version of the song Searching, one of the last appearances Michael did. And he had such a wonderful spirit, you could see how honest his performance was. I think if he had focused on performing in smaller more intimate venues and supporting causes he cared about, he could of survived. Michael had a great energy and didn't come across as troubled star like Morrison and Cobain. I think INXS will be rediscovered and appreciated for the beauty they did have in Michael.
Michael not only lives on in his beautiful music, but in his fan's hearts. I know he knows this. When I am down or need a lift, I can flip on a radio and find him singing. He will always evoke wonderful memories for me. “Not enough time” for sure, but he left such a wonderful catalog of work!!!! Michael, rest in peace and the love of your friends, family and fans.

I just discovered this beautiful website. I was listening to my IPOD at work yesterday and found myself hitting the next button through all the songs except INXS songs. I was sitting there thinking how beautiful Michael Hutchence 's voice was...how heartfelt his songs. He was truly an artist and his music is timeless.

So lovely and respectful this site. I just want to give additional love and admiration. I was 14 (1986) and a particular song I listened to every morning before school gave me a boost of confidence. I have always loved INXS, and of course Michael especially, but haven't thought about them in years, as I grew up listening to them in my early teen years and now I'm (gulp) 36.
Well, oddly enough, last night Michael was in my dream for the very first time. We were at a production of some sort but he was a part of the audience, not the show. He was very happy and he asked me to dance. He asked me about my life and when I told him I had a son who I love very much, he said that was beautiful. He walked back to his friends and I noticed that he was standing there with them but not really with them. It felt so symbolic. It was like he was in their presence but not able to interact with them. He was definitely happy.
I believe dreams are messages and I think this one is clear.
My prayers go out to Michael's family and friends. Even after ten years pass, it is still a struggle to live on earth without the ones you love.

First of all: Happy Valentine's Michael! Just a few words to tell you that I was about to sleep last night, closing my eyes and thinking a poem inspired by you that I now barely remember (I am not good at writing poetry)but I swear I will make an effort to put on paper what I was thinking last night and then will come back to the site and write it here.
