10 years,....Michael, I miss you.
For many years I was a great mate of Garry Beers and met Michael about 50 times at gigs and parties , hotels and Garry's place in Manly. What a beautiful gentle intelligent and gifted guy he was , he had that X factor . he would make you feel as if you were the most important person in a room full of people as he connected with you. He did this once at a night club when we were in our early twenties by making his way through a big crowd and planting a kiss on my cheek . He was a real sweet and very funny in a mischievious way guy with a warm pressence matched with a generous heart. Women loved him and men wanted to be like him. I often feel sad around this time but when I reflect on the good times i had with garry and the guys I feel what an honour to be partof those years.

I cannot believe it's been a full decade already since we lost you. I still cannot believe you are gone from this earth. You touched so many in such a deep profound way and I thank you for your words, music, voice, and inspiration. You were truly one of a kind, you have not and will not ever be forgotten. Thank you so much for everything and for sharing such a personal, beautiful part of yourself with the world. The old saying is so sadly true in this case...the world is infinitely poorer for your absence but infinitely richer for your having been here. Hi, I went onto the internet on 22.11.07 and found it was the 10 year anniversary of Michael's death. I was and still am an avid fan of INXS and have loved reading this memorial website which has allowed me to understand the softer side of this global rock star and father. 10 years ago today, Micheal Hutchence died in Australia, but 10 years ago my daughter was born, the same day. I have never believed the suicide story and I am sorry to Micheal's family, band, friends and fans, that this was even mentioned. Paula and Michael experimented with drugs and sex and it was just an unintentional accident. Micheal's family should be allowed to see Tiger Lily more often - she is part of their family. Bob Geldof has been very gracious to allow Tiger Lily a family with sisters who love her, but she is still half Australian and I hope when she is 18, things will be better for the Hutchence family. Michael's life was cut way too short, his time with us brought us all inspiration, it aided me through turbulent times and also through the better times.. Michael will never be forgotten, his music, passion and love lives on in each and every fan..
