Michael you inspired me to reach for the stars. I hope you have found peace. So sad to see you leave us so soon but you made made teenage years such a cool and rocking good time. Love you always...you gave so much joy.
I grew up listening to INXS and through many aspects of my life their music has been there, “the good and bad times”. I still can't believe Michael is no longer here, his larger than life persona and his incredible talent will live on in the hearts and minds of us all.

I am glad I have made the time to pay my respects to you the last 10 years have not been the same. To day our radio station dedicated a whole hour playing your music and snipets of interviews of people who knew you. It was very respectful and made me so proud, we will all meat some day on the other side.
10 years have passed today 22.11.07, it seems only yesterday that u left us all Hutch... May you dance up above with the angels and remain forever young.. or should I say “Stay Young”.. I did my normal tribute and played all your music today... and the tears just kept and still are rolling down... Love and kisses your a legend that was gone too soon gone but never ever forgotten... Luv ya mate... Until we one day meet up..

10 years ago, I was invited to a picnic at Bronte Beach Park. As I drove through Double Bay, I noticed a commotion and listening to the radio, I heard that Hutch had been found dead. When I got to Bronte I told my friend the news. I will never forget the bedlam that ensued as I quickly learnt the others at the picnic were wives/gfs of INXS. The distress I unwitingly caused haunts me still every time I hear his songs.

I can't believe it's been 10 years... I'm sitting here listening to “Never Tear Us Apart” with tears running down my cheeks... I don't think I realised that my reaction to the anniversary would be so strong.
I still remember exactly what I was doing when I heard the news of his death... The memory of that day will stay with me forever.

Many years ago when INXS were touring Darwin, and I was a daggy teenager, I spent the day with the guys on the harbour watching them water ski on my uncles boat. Just a small crowd no fuss. I was too shy to go near any of them but Michael stepped onto the boat and shook my hand saying “Hi Im Michael”.As if I didnt know !! He was so lovely and Ive never forgotton that moment. RIP Michaelxxxxxx

Well yes, today November 22 it is the 10th annyversary Michael's dead. But always he will be on my mind, heart and ears, because acroos all these years I saw his concerts with the band since 1977 to 1997. Thanks to internet I can see more about the golorious and epics moments of INXS and Michael too. I have listen to inxs since 1993.

I sit here with family for Thanksgiving, and all I can think of is that I wish I was in Australia today.
I find it hard to believe so much time has passed. Ten years... It feels so close yet a different life. I don't know if that makes sense.
INXS were a huge part of my life growing up and still are. I thought today would be harder. Maybe somewhere I finally came to terms with it all and didn't know. I don't feel like I did. It took ages to feel the old feelings and desire to hear his voice, but it happened. I'm glad for that. I couldn't picture my life without listening to the music, but for a while I couldn't do it.
