Here I sit at home on this, the 10th anniversary of our most dear Michael's passing.I have the dvd “I'm Only Looking” playing in the background. I took a day off work so I could fully reflect on what he and the other members achieved, and continue to achieve as INXS. How lucky are we as Australians to be able to claim them as our own? I am now an expatriate Aussie who remembers first hearing them in the late 1970's in Oz. I remember thinking then (I'm 10 months older than Michael) that this band was different, and that they would most likely do well. I had no idea how Well!Typically, many aussies cut down “Tall Poppies”! Michael and the boys certainly had to bear some of that “crap”. They helped to take a little bit of Australia wherever they went. I couldn't be more proud to say they are still my favourite band! I read Jon's, Garry's and Andrew's messages on the fan-club website today. I think Jon's comment about remembering Michael's life and achievements is so true. Yes I have shed tears today, and will shed many more over time. Thank you, thank you,for being above all, YOU. Kathryn
