It's been 10 years since I was crying while watching your funeral at TV in Sydney. I'm on the other side of the world now, but almost every day living with your music, poetry and love. My children know who you are and how great you are. We still love you Michael and miss a lot your presence on the stage. Rest in peace! You are the Rock legend of our life. I can't even imagine what pain and emptiness is in the hearts of your lovely daughter Tiger Lily and your closest family.

Twenty two years since I hung out at 'Rhino' and got to know the wonderful Mr Hutchence. Ten years since he's been gone. Miss you muchly, Michael! You were such an inspiration to us all!!! Still are.

i remember the day michael passed it was shock that i felt,I was about to turn 17 I went to my room crying and played all of my inxs albums 4 hours.My older brother was the hugest fan we talked on the phone both bewhildered about michael.I am now 27 this december and I still mark this day with an hour or more of his voice,my eldest son is 4 and knows all the songs from live baby live off by heart and michaels every move.I send my love support and best wishes to the hutchence family and especially tiger.u are always in our thoughts u were truely a gift from god.
Es gibt im Leben Ereignisse, die man nie verstehen wird - auch wenn man noch so oft und lange über sie nachdenkt. Michaels Tod war für mich so ein Ereignis. Seine Musik war für mich immer eine Inspiration und eine Quelle guter Laune. Sie war so etwas wie der Soundtrack zu meiner Jugend. Warum wirft ein so talentierter Mensch sein Leben einfach weg? Ich bin einer von vielen Menschen, die Michael vermissen. Unser Verlust ist ganz bestimmt ein Gewinn für den Himmel! Seine Musik bleibt und wird mich immer begleiten. 10 years after the passing of a brilliant and wonderful man I still often think about what Michael had achieved in his life. He had a charisma and energy that will never be replicated. When the news came that he passed away I felt like a chunk of my childhood had dissapeared. I will never forget you mate.

A verse is just a dot to the contribution Michael gave to Australian music - and for that matter the world. What we saw was brilliance but to others - he was so much more - a bandmate, a brother , a son , a father , a lover or maybe even a friend and by all accounts an amazing human being. This planet can evolve so much in ten years but somethings are as clear as yesterday. Thank you Michael - you gave us so much. .Peter
So many memories and many unbelievable shows from my first experience in 85 on New Years Day and the many shows i was fortunate to see. Michael was pure entertainment from the moment he walked on stage.
I can't believe it has already been 10 years since Michael's passing. I remember being 15 years old and devestated when i heard the horrible news, i just couldn't believe it. ?? wish i could have seen Michael perform live, what a wonderful voice he had and a huge stage presence.
Inxs reminds me of growing up with my big brothers and singing along in the car, just yesterday i was reading an account from Tina Hutchence and i was in tears thinking about how i would feel if i lost my brother (who idolised Michael when he was younger). Michael's voice and words will always live on and will continue to touch many people's lives. Today i will celebrate his life by listening to INXS all day at work and remembering what a talented and wonderful person he was. My thoughts go out to Michael's family and friends.
